Rough times for Conrad Murray.
The doctor who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson case is now unable to afford his own lawyer.
Even though, there was a time in his life where he earned up to $150,000 a month to act as MJ's doctor, it looks like Conrad is now broke as he has asked the court to appoint him a public defender to help him appeal his conviction.
He filed a notice appeal to the LA Superior Court on Tuesday.
And it looks like he's getting the not-so-friendly treatment in jail. His former lawyer saw that police had put him in handcuffs and leg chains and even handcuffed him to the table for their meeting, which is something that non-violent offenders have to experience.

Wishful thinking? Not really…
Conrad Murray got the maximum sentence yesterday, with a sentence of 4 years behind bars.
But, he could get out as early as Christmas to serve the rest of his time doing house arrest.
With the overcrowding of California jails and him being considered a non-violent felon, it looks like Murray is eligible to live out his sentence comfortably in his own home.
Hmm, we didn't know that California correctional facilities can pull a Lindsay Lohan on what some people would consider a convicted murderer.

Nothing at all … about doing that documentary.
The world watched on yesterday as Conrad Murray was given the maximum punishment for his part in the death of Michael Jackson by an infuriated Judge Michael Pastor. It became very evident very quickly that Judge Pastor was PO'ed about Conrad's involvement in the documentary about his trial.
For a man who couldn't spare any time to defend himself on the stand, Conrad

SOOOO SAD!!
Katherine Jackson's victim impact statement from the Conrad Murray trial has been released to the public.
Michael Jackson's mother shared some powerful jury, but what was most heart wrenching to us what Katherine had to say about her grandchildren: Prince Michael, (Prince) Michael Joseph and Paris.
In her statement the Jackson Matriarch said:

Guess we'll find out soon if their pleas have any effect!
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren is pushing for Conrad Murray to be given the maximum sentence for being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death.
Murray's family and friends, on the other hand, want the judge to take it easy on him!
Here's what Murray's baby momma Nicole Alvarez had to say about it in a letter she wrote to the judge:
