Sir Richard Branson And Virgin Team Up To Save The World's Wildlife

Nature's most exotic animals are being cut down one by one and there's needs to be change.

Sir Richard Branson and Virgin have teamed up with WildAid, an organization sponsoring the safety and rescue efforts of the world's endangered animals.

Branson was recently in India to help control the efforts of tiger poaching. There is a possibility that tigers can become extinct in our lifetime. Branson said the following on the need to help the tiger:

The tiger is desperately, desperately in need of help. They’ve got just two white tigers left in Rewa. I don’t think you can have too many people trying to help. What we’re hoping, with this trip, is to get maybe 30 foreign entrepreneurs working with 30 Indian entrepreneurs, see whether we can make a real difference and not just talk, see what practical help we can give them on the ground. Once you start seeing the numbers going up, from 1,500 to 3,000, things will be hopeful, but at the moment, that doesn’t seem to be happening.

Several celebrities and athletes have also created PSAs for the effort as well. Especially, China celebrities are making a conscious effort to inform the Chinese on the animals, as China has the most poaching of any other country.

Check out the video above to find out more on how to save the world's endangered species.
