Give Harry Potter An Oscar, Damn It!

They want it. They need it. They deserve it? That's up to the Academy to decide.

Warner Bros. is gearing up the campaign to get the final film of the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two, nominated for some Oscars.

The studio is kicking things off by launching this "For You Consideration" trailer for, well, consideration. They are looking for everything from Best Picture to Best Actor to Best Use Of A Wand! (They'll probably win that last one…)

Ch-ch-check it out! (above)

hilary-duff-wants-to-make-another-record

Oh, hellz to the YES! What unexpected but awesome news!

Now that Hilary Duff and her husband, Mike Comrie, have been married for a little bit of time, people are wondering whether or not the pair will be having a baby any time soon, and when the actress was recently asked just that, she inadvertently revealed that she may, in fact, be coming out with another album soon!

She explains:

“We talk about it [having kids]. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I want to work a little bit more. I’m tossing around the idea of making another record and obviously that wouldn’t be very good timing. We want it, we’re excited for it, but I think it can wait just a little while longer. He’s supportive of me, he knows that I’m still young and if I want to work more, he’s totally supportive of that.”

Oh em effing gee!

We had almost given up hope on more music from the Duffster!

Please do it, gurl! We ADORED Dignity, and would love to see you continue in that direction for your next album!

Make it happen! Please!

What do U think?? Are U excited for a new Hilary Duff album??

It's (Almost) Official! Simon Cowell Reveals Final Two Judges On The X Factor!

simon-cowell-reveals-judges-panel-for-the-x-factor

Wow! It's ACTUALLY happening!

And personally, we couldn't be more PSYCHED! It's like the best of both worlds combining for the PERFECT reality show!

There has been a massive amount of speculation regarding who will fill the remaining two spots left on the judges panel of the American reboot of Simon Cowell's smash UK series, The X Factor, and although the deals are STILL not finalized, the producer has finally revealed that he's settled on the already-announced Antonio "L.A." Reid, as well as (wait for it)…Cheryl Cole AND Paula Abdul!

That's right! PAULA EFFING ABDUL! We're freaking out!

SHE'S BACK!

According to Cowell, although the long-awaited announcement was a showcase of "complete and utter indecisiveness," he claims that Reid "was my No. 1 choice to sit alongside me on the show," and continues:

"First of all, it's like casting a dinner party. You’ve got to have people on the panel you get on well with. I never think about it as an American or British audience. I genuinely don’t. I think that’s what's happened on a lot of these shows now is it's almost like you’ve got to hire well known celebrities to be a judge. And with Cheryl, when I hired her initially, I'd only met her literally once when I offered her the job on [British] X Factor. I thought she was bright, cute, knew what she was talking about, ambitious. And you meet someone special a few times in your life.. And this girl is special. She's just got a great ability to communicate. Shes a great judge. She's smart. It's just a hunch. If people take to her like the British public did, I think she's going to do really well in America. And Fox was desperate to hire her. Mike Darnell and Peter Rice will tell you they wanted her all the time, I showed a tape to Mike Darnell two years ago of a clip I'd shot in England of Cheryl and he said there and then, 'I'd hire her now for Idol.' They absolutely fell in love with her. In a way, the deal, it was almost conditional on Cheryl having the gig. They were desperate for her. I've always wanted Paula. Always been very vocal about that. I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I've been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I've always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she's right. I've never found anyone better than her. I think there's a good chance it will be her. We've agreed that we would meet as many people as possible, and now we're reaching the deadline we've got to make the decision soon. But I think she's got a really good shot."

Granted, Abdul's deal has even started yet and Chezza's STILL isn't quite done, but we've heard it from his mouth, so we're going with it…and frankly, think that he might be on to something!

British audiences took very kindly to Cheryl when she joined X Factor in its fifth season, and we all know that a lot of American Idol's initial success came from Paula's shenanigans, so to combine the two along with Reid is a pretty smart move!

We just hope that this is the end of all the speculation! We're tired of having to guess who's going to take the spots!

Well done, Simon!

And if you're interested, check out which rumored artists Cowell actually considered for Paula and Cheryl's spots…AFTER THE JUMP!

What do U think?? Are U excited for The X Factor's judging panel?

SIGHting

Lindsay Lohan, alongside Victoria Gotti - whom she is in talks to portray in the upcoming crime family's film Gotti: Three Generations - at a press event in New York today.

Producer Marc Fiore was even quoted saying:

"Lindsay is a terrific actress. Nothing has been finalized, but we are definitely in talks."

And Gotti herself once again had nothing but praise for the actress:

"I think she's incredible. I think she's a great actress. I think she can do … any role, really. I've always said that to her mom [Dina] when we met many years ago. Just watching her in The Parent Trap, I thought was adorable and she's a good kid. She had a little bit of a bumpy road recently. I think she's doing great; I think she's going to continue to do great and she's got a lot of people rooting for her."

Yeah - between her appearance at a press event for the film, and Victoria's support, we have a feeling that LiLo will be officially signed on in no time!

Here's hoping that that pesky trial won't mess this up - this is a huge step for her!

Oh, wow! We hadn't even thought about her for the job - but we'd bet she'd be a pretty solid addition to the team!

Sources have revealed exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Demi Lovato has, in fact, met with Fox and is being considered for a spot on the judges panel on The X Factor!

The insider elaborates:

"She would love to do it."

What a wonderful opportunity that would be for her!

The perfect job to ease her back into the limelight, without the pressure of headlining a show or going on tour, etc.

Our fingers are crossed for you, gurl! Best of luck!

Her Minajesty, Too?! Nicki Being Considered For Judging Position On X Factor!

nicki-minaj-considered-for-judging-position-on-x-factor

Wow! We could get behind this!

While Former Island Def Jam Music Group chairman L.A. Reid is the only confirmed judge so far for the upcoming US edition of Simon Cowell's X Factor, sources close to production have revealed that none other than Miz Nicki Minaj herself is in negotiations to join the panel!

The insider explains:

"Simon thinks Nicki is fantastic. She's sassy, she looks great and she has bags of personality. Nicki has a large following and she fits well with the ethos of the show, which plans to usher in a new generation of musical talent. 'X Factor' is aiming for a younger audience. Those aged 12 and over can audition, and [the English version has] launched successful artists from other genres of music than pop. This isn't a done deal yet, but Nicki would be great for the show. She fits the ideal that 'X Factor' will be exciting, vibrant and different. And the show would also be great for her career."

Definitely! Our only concern is that she is still a relatively new artist…but we think with the success of her debut album, Pink Friday, and her amazing personality, she should have NO problem fitting right in!

But who knows? We're still hearing that Nicole Scherzinger, Chezza, and Tommy Mottola are still in the running - not to mention Little J and Enrique as potential hosts - so we doubt we'll have anything else confirmed until the official announcement is made!

And let's hope that it's SOON! We're tired of being left in the dark!

What do U think?? Who should comprise the judges panel on the US X Factor??

Because Why Not? Little J Up For X Factor Hosting Gig!

taylor-momsen-considered-for-x-factor-us-host

And the shortlist just keeps getting stranger and stranger…

We reported earlier in the week that Simon Cowell was considering Enrique Iglesias as a host for the upcoming US edition of X Factor, but it looks as though if that doesn't work, he's heading to the Upper East Side to try and secure none other than Little J herself, Taylor Momsen, for the job!

Seriously!

Sources close to the production have revealed that the show's producers think that The Pretty Reckless singer is perfect because she is "young, hip, and edgy."

Yeah…but like we said about Enrique - does she have any experience hosting a show like this? And we may be the only ones who still think this, but we'd be bummed if she didn't return to Gossip Girl at some point!

Don't get it twisted - we think she'd do just fine - we just are a little concerned with how all over the place these casting announcements seem to be!

Time to buckle down and make some decisions, guys!

What do U think?? Who should host/judge X Factor??
