Elin Nordegren mansion structure

Remember that house $12 million mansion Tiger Wood's ex-wife demolished in Florida last week?

It turns out Elin Nordegren didn't do it just because she could afford to — she did it because it was the affordable thing to do!

The property was built in the 1920s and, as a result, the structure wasn't safe to face hurricanes. The construction manager told sources:

Another Reason For Us To Love Pigskin!

Another Reason For Me To Love Pigskin!

A crunchy snak, football, and now boobies!!

Yes, scientist are pioneering new breast reconstruction technique for cancer patients, using pigskin.

When a cancer patient's breast undergoes reconstruction the implant doesn't um… age the same way her natural breast does.

In this new technique, normal implants are still used to rebuild the breast, but the pigskin graft works like an internal bra, cradling the implant and allowing some of the natural droop of a normal breast.

According to The Daily Mail 1,200 patients in the UK have had their breasts reconstructed in this way.

We hope they smell like bacon when they work out!!!

44ft Whale Passed Away On UK Beach

Dead Sperm Whale

SAD.

Attempts to save the 20-tonne sperm whale failed after it washed up on Redcar (UK) beach early on Tuesday.

Following an autopsy by experts from the Zoological Society of London, a five-hour operation to cut up the carcass was carried out.

It involved the use of a hydraulic plant more usually used for road construction, mining or quarrying work.

It is not yet known why the whale was in the area, but some experts believe noise from shipping might have confused it.

The results from the autopsy are expected in about two weeks.

RIP sperm whale!

Tyra's Still Driving Her Neighbors Nuts With Construction

Want to know how to piss off an entire apartment building in New York City? Just ask Tyra!

The supermodel started remodeling her four apartment penthouse last May and almost a year later it's still not finished!

Residents at the Riverhouse were originally told a majority of the construction would be completed by October, but now that it's dragged on for another 6 months they want to be compensated as much as $100,000 for the noisy inconvenience.

They were, of course, denied.

disneyland shanghai construction starts this week

Very exciting!

Way back in November 09, we learned that Disneyland Shanghai was officially a go!

Now, nearly a year and a half later, the Walt Disney Co. is finally ready to begin construction on the theme park!

On April 8, Disney CEO Bob Iger will oversee the beginning of construction on the $3.7 billion "initial phase of construction," which will "cover 1.5 square miles" and will include "a theme park and two hotels, and…additional 1.1 square miles for further development."

The park is currently scheduled to open in 2016 in China's Pudong district, and it will be the sixth Disney theme park to be launched around the world.

So cool! We can't wait to see it when it's completed!

Will U visit Disneyland Shanghai when it opens in 2016?

Madonna SUED After Malawi School Plans Fall Apart!

madonna-sued-by-former-employees-for-unfair-dismissal

Oh no! This is a terrible development in an already unfortunate situation!

Madonna is currently being slapped with an unfair dismissal lawsuit from former employees of her Raising Malawi charity, now that plans for a new girls school in the country fell apart!

As we reported, the singer was hoping to build a $15 million development near the capital of Lilongwe, but was abandoned once reports surfaced that suggested that there was some financial mismanagement. Executive Director of Raising Malawi, Philippe van den Bossche, quit back in October, and now, the board of directors has been completely dismissed.

Now, however, eight pissed off employees have pressed charges, according to their lawyer, Mzondi Chirambo, who explains:

“Their employment was terminated by the trustees of Raising Malawi Academy for Girls ostensibly following the change of plan not to build the school as planned. My clients are also being forced to sign a discriminatory termination agreement before they are paid their benefits.”

Yuck! What a mess!

In return, Madonna has 14 days to respond to the allegations, but has also reportedly looked into filing a suit against those who caused the plans to collapse.

Such a shame that so much ill-will has come from something that was supposed to better so many young people's lives.

Here's hoping that they don't lose sight of that, and can reach some sort of amicable agreement.
