Scary stuff!

On Wednesday, IKEA announced that they were recalling around 27 million chests and dressers because they pose a fatal risk to children!

Along with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Swedish retail giant reported that two children died in 2014 after IKEA's MALM chests fell on them.

Why? Because they were not anchored to a wall.

OUCH — Lululemon Forced To Recall Over 300,000 Hoodies After Several Reported Injuries!

Lululemon hoodies can cause injury!

Which is worse: inadvertently baring your butt to the world or getting smacked in the face with a plastic-tipped string?

If you shop at Lululemon, you may not have to choose!

The popular athletic clothing retailer already had quite some drama on its hands with the see-through yoga pants debacle in 2013, and before the dust even settled on that issue the company has a new mess to deal with!

Aren't you glad you're not the Lululemon CEO? LOLz!

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recently ordered a recall of 300,000 (133,000 in the US and 185,000 in Canada) of the company's hoodie jackets because:

"When the elastic draw cord with a hard tip in the hood or around the neck area is pulled or caught on something and released, it can snap back, impact the face area and result in injury."

That's right — those plastic-tipped drawstrings around a hood keep smacking people in the face!

The CPSC also stated that there were "seven reported incidents, resulting in seven injuries to the face and eye."

Moreover, the Commission had this warning for consumers who have purchased the hoodies and tops in question:

"Consumers should stop wearing the tops with the elastic draw cord and either remove the draw cord or contact lululemon to request a new, non-elastic draw cord with written instructions on how to replace the draw cord."

The recall prompted this response from a spokeswoman for the company:

"Our main priority is ensuring the product works for our guests, and we believe this is the necessary proactive action. We are committed to making our product right for our guests and regret any inconvenience this may have caused them."

Stay safe out there, people!
