Hangover 3: So Close…But Yet…So Far From Being Official

hangover-iii-still-in-the-works-web.jpg

While we anxiously wait for the wolfpack to return…sadly it still hasn't been made official.

Wolfpacker Ed Helms said the following about The Hangover 3:

I am one hundred percent on board the effort to make it happen, but we're just not officially there yet

He also joked that the next location would Mars. Somehow, we don't think that's true. HA!

But still, how else can you do it big with drugs and an exotic location? We're excited to find out!

This flick needs to hurry up and get the OK! We miss Bradley, Zach, and Ed and their shenanigans!

Dancers Alliance Does Flash Mob For Music Video Contract Rights

Dozens of members of the Los Angeles dance community and members of The Dancers Alliance rallied in front of Sony Music Entertainment offices on Friday in protest over their lack of rights in music videos.

Dancers who are in the union get benefits when they work on stage shows, movies, television and commercials. However, when it comes to music videos, performers say that the music video industry is still like the "lawless wild west."

Dancer Kevin Stea says:

"If you see me or my fellow dancers on the Grammys, we are working under a union contract. If you see us in movies, commercials, or Dancing with the Stars, for example, we have a union contract. But when you watch dancers perform in music videos, we are working without a union contract and without basic protections on the job and no hope of insurance or pension benefits."

In their new campaign "It's About Time," dancers are seeking proper pay and benefits for their work in videos. Watch their flash mob rally above.

We support you!!!

Soulja Boy Suing Ex-Manager For Whaaat!?!

soulja boy lawsuit

Here's the crazy celebrity lawsuit of the day!!!

According to Soulja Boy, his former manager, Philip Ransom, took advantage of his fragile 16-year-old mind when he "coerced" him into signing contracts "contrary to industry standard."

These contracts give the record label he worked with 50% and Ransom 5% of any music profits he'll ever make on the songs he recorded under said management.

FOX Renews The Simpsons For Another Two Seasons!

The Simpsons has been saved!

After an extremely stressful day of uncertainty and contract negotiations, Fox announced last night that the long-running animated comedy will be renewed for another two years, meaning it will at least make it to 25 seasons and 559 episodes!

Incredible! The show has become such a staple of television, it's bizarre to think about what would happen if it ended - and so suddenly!

Well, we guess we wouldn't notice, with all the reruns constantly playing! LOLz!

We kid, we kid!

Congratulations on figuring out a deal that everyone could agree upon, guys!

Looking forward to at least another two years!

Danielle Staub Getting Sued For Breach Of Contract!

Staub Sued

Who didn't see this coming?

We reported that Danielle Staub had taken a stripping gig for Scores in NYC, but had left abruptly to deal with her "issues" without warning.

This, rightly so, doesn't sit well with Scores because they paid her $25k upfront for an exclusive 3 year contract where she would do voice work and even be in live chat sessions online.

Now that she's bailed, they're looking to sue her for $375,000 dollars!

Apparently they haven't heard from her AT ALL since she left! Shame!

Danielle, you gotta honor your contracts or work out a deal to leave! You can't just abandon things, because the price to pay will be MUCH worse if you do!

This is why they're in place!

House In Negotiations, May Not Return For Eighth Season

house-on-fox-in-negotiations.jpg

House fans may be out of luck.

With May sweeps coming up fast, Fox has yet to close any deals with House producers.

Owned by NBCUniversal, the studio is hoping that the show's network, Fox, will pick up the show for its eighth season, extending their negotiations until April 15.

If the two sides can't come to an agreement, NBCU plans to take the show to other networks, including, of course NBC.

Another thing that is keeping both sides from agreeing on a deal is that several of the show's cast members are currently negotiating their contracts as well.

None of them have yet signed on to another season with one of its stars, Robert Sean Leonard, hinting that he may leave at the end of this season.

In FACT, he's already committed to going back on stage and doing a Broadway revival of Born Yesterday that will coincide with the production of House's eighth season.

So much dramz!!

Things aren't looking good for the show. With production costs getting more expensive and a fall in viewership, the cards are definitely stacked up against them.

Hmm, we don't know.

What do U think? Does House have a chance of coming back?
