Danielle Staub Getting Sued For Breach Of Contract!

Staub Sued

Who didn't see this coming?

We reported that Danielle Staub had taken a stripping gig for Scores in NYC, but had left abruptly to deal with her "issues" without warning.

This, rightly so, doesn't sit well with Scores because they paid her $25k upfront for an exclusive 3 year contract where she would do voice work and even be in live chat sessions online.

Now that she's bailed, they're looking to sue her for $375,000 dollars!

Apparently they haven't heard from her AT ALL since she left! Shame!

Danielle, you gotta honor your contracts or work out a deal to leave! You can't just abandon things, because the price to pay will be MUCH worse if you do!

This is why they're in place!

House In Negotiations, May Not Return For Eighth Season

house-on-fox-in-negotiations.jpg

House fans may be out of luck.

With May sweeps coming up fast, Fox has yet to close any deals with House producers.

Owned by NBCUniversal, the studio is hoping that the show's network, Fox, will pick up the show for its eighth season, extending their negotiations until April 15.

If the two sides can't come to an agreement, NBCU plans to take the show to other networks, including, of course NBC.

Another thing that is keeping both sides from agreeing on a deal is that several of the show's cast members are currently negotiating their contracts as well.

None of them have yet signed on to another season with one of its stars, Robert Sean Leonard, hinting that he may leave at the end of this season.

In FACT, he's already committed to going back on stage and doing a Broadway revival of Born Yesterday that will coincide with the production of House's eighth season.

So much dramz!!

Things aren't looking good for the show. With production costs getting more expensive and a fall in viewership, the cards are definitely stacked up against them.

Hmm, we don't know.

What do U think? Does House have a chance of coming back?

Jersey Shore Contract Dramz!

jersey shore cast contract drama

After all the negotiations that took place before season three, we're not surprised AT ALL that the Jersey Shore cast wants more money.

The majority of the cast have NOT yet signed onto season four because they're holding out for more $$$.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

Snooki, The Situation, J-Woww and Pauly D have not finalized their contracts because they can’t agree on the amount."

“As of last week Deena hadn’t signed her contract either but Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny were done.”

“Last time they had these issues, it was Ronnie, Sammi and Vinny who held out the longest."

“Time is short, everyone is getting concerned because they’re supposed to leave for Italy soon, I just hope they can settle it.”

As they did last season, we're sure MTV will make sure to figure everything out in time. We'd be SHOCKED if the show was delayed or canceled due to contract-related drama.

Do U think MTV should pay the Jersey Shore cast more money?

HBO Nixes Diane Keaton Blogger Show!

Filed under: TV NewsSad SadEllen Page

hbo-does-not-pick-up-tilda

Lame! We wanted to see this!

HBO has announced that they will not be picking up the proposed Diane Keaton pilot Tilda, which was set to be about an influential Hollywood blogger!

Sources explain that "despite everyone's best efforts," the original showrunner Cynthia Mort left the project behind, and with the actors' - Keaton, Ellen Page, and Jason Patric - contracts expiring in March, the network decided to just cut their losses and let it go!

Well, at least they have Charlie Sheen's new pilot to fill whatever spot this would have taken! Ha!

Seriously though, this is kind of a shame!

Oh well! What can you do?

What do U think?? Are U disappointed Tilda never made it to air??

Jersey Shore Cast To Start Negotiations AGAIN!?!?!?

Filed under: TV NewsMTVBusiness BlitzReality TV

jersey shore cast to start negotiations for upcoming season

Despite the fact that they JUST renegotiated, it looks like the Jersey Shore cast wants to renegotiate AGAIN for the show's upcoming season.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"The cast are all about to start talks for a new season. Producers want to film in Miami again next spring, and they want to lock the cast down now. The problem is that most of them plan to demand their own spinoff show as part of the deal, as well as a large raise on their current pay."

We understand that Jersey Shore is a hit, but what's the point of signing a contract in the first place if you're going to keep trying to change it?

Then again, the cast seems to do very well each time they renegotiate, so we GUESS we see why they keep at it.

Stop being such enablers, MTV!

What do U think? Should the Jersey Shore cast be able to renegotiate their contracts as often as they do?

SAG Warns Actors To Not Work On The Hobbit!!!

This movie is so filled with drama and it hasn't even gone into production yet!!

Reports are saying that the unions for actors in film and television, SAG and AFTRA, have alerted their members to not accept work on Peter Jackson's upcoming film The Hobbit.

Members "are advised not to accept work on this non-union project" because:

"The Alliance agreement for large-budget international studio films…provides for residuals that are equivalent to those under the SAG agreement. The residuals proposed by the producers of The Hobbit are less in every respect."

According to unions, producers on the film have refused to sign union contracts.

Crazy!! Will this movie ever happen??

It Wasn't Lou Reed's Fault!

wenn2810561jb__opt1.jpg

It was previously reported that Lou Reed was the reason Susan Boyle was unable to perform on America's Got Talent last night, but that's not true according to his reps.

Apparently it was a contractual issue and that his song "Perfect Day" was not cleared in time for her to perform in America as it was in the UK.

She also didn't have another song prepared for the show making her unable to perform.

Reps for Susan released a statement:

"Susan was due to perform a chosen song from her new album The Gift on America's Got Talent in Los Angeles. It is with real disappointment and regret that she has been unable to do so due to unforeseen circumstances relating to the song.

"Susan is very disappointed as she had been looking forward to it immensely. She is now on a plane heading back to London with a heavy heart. Susan really looks forward to being able to perform her new songs very soon."

Chin up, girl!
