The always awesome REM is prepping the release of their 15th studio album, Collapse Into Now, and bandmember Mike Mills revealed that our beloved PEACHES will be contributing to at least one of the tracks, as well as Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and Patti Smith!
"With Accelerate we were trying to make a point by making the songs as short and as fast as possible. So we wanted this new one to be more expansive. We wanted to put more variety into it and not limit ourselves to any one type of song. There are some really slow, beautiful songs, there are some nice, mid-tempo ones, and then there are three or four rockers. [It's a] very personal, very human record. Not only to [singer] Michael [Stipe], but personal and human in the sense of the narrative of the songs, the protagonists of the songs."
EXCELLENT! This sounds much more like the REM that we know and love!
And we can't wait to hear a track infused with the teaches of Peaches!
This is going to be so effing amazeballs!
New single NOW, please!

A reunion of sorts! This is going to be pretty effing cool!
The band Foo Fighters is hard at work on what they're calling their "old school analogue" album, and Dave Grohl has reportedly asked his former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic to contribute to a track, and the producer of the acclaimed Nevermind, Butch Vig, to give a helping hand, as well!
According to Grohl, Novoselic “came in the other night and played bass on a song.” He also revealed that the album is going to be the band's "heaviest yet."
Inneresting! It sounds like he's attempting to infuse some of Nirvana's aesthetic into their latest and go a little darker!
What do U think?? Are U excited for the new Foo Fighters album??

Oh shit! This feud is getting just straight-up nasty!
Billy Corgan is apparently NOT pleased with all of Courtney Love's delusional crazy as of late, and is lashing back at all of the shiz she's spewed about him and his contributions to her band Hole's latest album, Nobody's Daughter!
"She's a great artist, I've always believed in her ability and certainly have looked the other way with her issues. Out of the blue she's talking shit. She's got that crazy thing where she creates fantasies if people don't do what she wants them to do, like saying I snuck on to her record. The irony to tell the world totally untrue things about me, and then to go on stage, act like a prima donna and play songs I wrote. I just think don't play my songs if my contribution is so worthless. She's rendered herself irrelevant. She's always going to be a great artist but she's betrayed the important things that made her great so all that's left is her fire. Courtney I don't mind kicking dirt on because she's just an idiot and she continues to slag me off. I'm enough of a gentleman not to talk about the things I've seen. She's literally making stuff up. Believe me, if I told people what I'd really seen, well, if she thinks she's got problems now…"
Ah! We can only IMAGINE what kind of mess he's seen!
Tell us, bb!
We're DYING to know!
What do U think?? Team Billy or Team Courtney??
