We are very proud of Vanessa Williams.

The actress has bravely come forward and revealed that she was sexually abused as a child.

Vanessa is speaking out about it in interviews, and discuses the issue in her new memoir, You Have No Idea.

She says she was just 10-years-old when she suffered abuse at the hands of the 18-year-old daughter of her parents’ friends, who:

“pulled down the bloomers of my cotton baby-doll pajamas. I lay there paralyzed. What was I going to do?”

But she didn't let the insolence paralyze her for long. She adds that, even though it did inspire some teenage rebellion, it didn't stop her from accomplishing her goals:

“It didn’t paralyse me, and I don’t dwell.”

Opening up about something like this is VERY hard, but bringing the subject into a public conversation can raise awareness for the children that become victims of this sick abuse everyday.

Justin Bieber’s momma has joined the fight to save the home for teenage girls that housed her when she 17 and preggers with the future pop star.

JB's mom, Patti Mallette, wants to keep the 54-year-old Sally Ann Home for troubled pregnant teens open so the next generation of Canadian girls can have the same opportunities she had. How sweet!

Patti has yet to reveal what exactly she's going to do to help. Howevs, reps for the home confirm that:

"We are still talking with her… There is ongoing conversation.”

We hope that her efforts make a difference!

If it wasn't for that girl's home there may have never been a Biebs! IT MUST BE SAVED!!
