Just like hips, this judge doesn't lie.

According to a New York federal judge, a subsidiary of Sony Music is liable for copyright infringement for the Shakira song Loca! That's crazy!

The song's origins can be linked to a songwriter from the Dominican Republic, Ramon "Arias" Vasquez, who wrote the song Loca con su Tiguera back in the '90s.

The rights for Loca con su Tiguera were

One Direction's You & I Music Video Could Be A Complete Concept Rip Off!? Decide If The Boys Are Copycatting HERE!

anigif enhanced 14700 1397836459 25

One Direction displayed some AH-Mazing cloning effects in their newly premiered video for You & I, but now, it's being called a total rip off!!

Let us explain, faithful Directioners…

Australian production company OhYeahWow noted that the Ben Winston-directed vid looked a lot like another clip made for Australian band Clubfeet.

In a recent statement, the company claimed its similarities, while staying on 1D's good side by shedding compliments left and right:

"Late Friday night whilst we were busy observing the good traditions of the public holiday, something very suspicious was brought to our attention. It seems that the chaps of One Direction have taken it upon themselves to regurgitate our original concept, as seen in our award-winning clip for Clubfeet’s Everything You Wanted. Don’t get us wrong, we here at Oh Yeah Wow are big One Direction fans and are envious of their ability to maintain flawless hairdos. To be crystal clear, OYW has nothing against creative evolution. Artists constantly reinterpret other works that have inspired them and we’re fine with people taking a technique and using it to create something new…The wider problem is, that plagiarism and copycatting is becoming increasingly common and acceptable."

The band hasn't addressed the accusations of plagiarism—but with the internet a flutter, we're sure they'll have to soon!

Ch-ch-check out both videos and decide whether 1D ripped off the original idea…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Carly Rae Jepsen & Owl City's Good Time Is Ruled A Rip-Off In Court! Get The Copycat Deets HERE!

Well this is the total opposite of an AH-Mazing evening!

Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City's hit track Good Time was sued for for copyright infringement back in 2012…

And it looks like they just lost their case!

BMI (the company who collects royalties from the song) is now being order to pay over $800k to the lesser known vocalist Ally Burnett, who the song apparently rips off!

If you listen closely, Ally's ear candy, Ah, It's a Love Song, does sound trés similar - but your humble opinion is ALWAYS appreciated.

Do you think the ruling was fair?!

UPDATE: There has so far been NO ruling in this case by the court. The plaintiff actually dismissed her claims against BMI and agreed that royalties deposited by BMI can be released to the lawyers for other defendants in the case. That part of the claim has nothing to do with Carly Rae or Owl City.

Sarah Palin SUED Over Using 9/11 Image To Promote & Raise Money For Herself!

sarah palin uses 911 image for self

Seriously yuck!

It's almost hard to believe that anyone would do this, but it seems Sarah Palin has actually been using a touching and emotional 9/11 image to promote herself!

There is a famous photo of New York City firefighters putting up a U.S. flag on 9/11, but that image is owned by North Jersey Media Group Inc. However, that apparently didn't stop Sarah from posting the image on her Facebook page with her PAC logo at the bottom of it!

Now, a lawsuit has reportedly been filed over copyright infringement. In the lawsuit, the publisher commented:
