Meryl Streep Performed Carrie Fisher's Favorite Song At The Actress' Star-Studded Private Memorial

Carrie Fisher's loved ones delivered touching tributes at her private memorial.

On Thursday, A-listers, friends, and family visited the Star Wars alum's Beverly Hills home for an intimate gathering, to remember her life in the wake of her untimely passing.

The late legend died just one day before her mother Debbie Reynolds also passed, and the two are slated to be buried together on Friday.

A family friend told PEOPLE that Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd, wanted the memorial to feel like one of the parties the When Harry Met Sally alum used to throw, saying:

"Billie wanted the people her mother loved to gather in that living room one last time."

The insider explained that the Scream Queens alum delivered a eulogy in memory of her mother, adding that close friends Meryl Streep, Tracey Ullman, Bruce Wagner, Stephen Fry, and Gavin de Becker also said a few words:

"All the tributes circled back to Billie and how much Carrie loved her."

The confidante confessed that Meryl even performed Ms. Fisher's favorite song, Happy Days Are Here Again, describing:
