There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the sudden and unexpected death of Whitney Houston earlier this month, with some suggesting the unthinkable and others praying for a less ghastly reason for her demise. The latter will be pleased to know that though the coroner has not confirmed anything, sources close to the investigation of her death say it's being ruled an accident.
While nothing will be known for sure until the toxicology tests come back in a few weeks, the insider reveals "nothing suspicious" has been found to connect any of Whitney's doctors to her death and there are no other persons of interest being considered. As the inquiry into her death is nearing an end, the source

Despite rumors saying the family of Whitney Houston had already been contacted by the coroner to discuss the cause of death, the LA County Coroner's office is flat out denying it!!
According to assistant chief coroner Ed Winter, he's never broached the issue with her family. He did, however, say it's possible the police could have had such discussions.
No official word will be given to the media until the toxicology reports are printed. Which means we could waiting for a while…
But according to those rumors, there wasn't enough water found in Whitney's lungs for the cause of death to be drowning! So instead, her death is believed to have been cause by a lethal drug/alcohol cocktail!!
To be continued…

We're saddened to report that the Carter family will have to wait a bit longer to get closure.
Yesterday, we were heartbroken to learn that Nick and Aaron Carter's sister Leslie Carter passed away at the age of 25.
Then earlier today, we heard that Leslie has been battling an addiction to prescription medication, and that she had moved to Upstate New York in an effort to beat it.
Now, we've learned the upsetting news that Leslie's autopsy was inconclusive, and they'll have to perform a toxicology report due to the fact that there were no visible signs of trauma.
Here's what Coroner Richard Mackowiak had to say about it:

So much for closure.
Earlier today, officials announced that the coroner who oversaw Amy Winehouse's cause of death inquest has resigned after "her qualifications were questioned."
As a result, the investigation MAY be reopened, if that's what Amy's family wants.
In a newly released statement, the family

Uh oh, LiLo!
It looks like Judge Stephanie isn't the only one calling you out, girl!
As we just reported, after arriving at the morgue twenty minutes late, Lindsay's rep claimed it was due to the media and just not knowing where the entrance was. Lindsay's rep also said everything was good to go.
But LA County Asst Chief Coroner Ed Winter says no way that's true:

The coroner has just released that Russell Armstrong was clear of both drugs and alcohol at the time of his death.
The autopsy revealed quickly that it had indeed been a suicide, but toxicology reports still hadn't come in yet. Now they know that he was not under the influence of any substances when he sadly and tragically took his own life last month.
We still feel for you, Taylor. Things like this defy explanation sometimes, and it doesn't make it any easier.
Our hearts go out.
