People Are Getting Arrested For Not Paying Their Student Loans!

Sallie Mae does not play!

Last week, Paul Aker (pictured above) — a resident of Houston, TX — was sitting at home when the most unexpected thing happened…

SEVEN armed U.S. marshals showed up to his front door and arrested him!

It turns out Aker had an outstanding student loan debt of $1500 that he hadn't payed since 1987. After taking him to jail, authorities took him to federal court and made him sign a payment plan.

He said:

"It was totally mind-boggling."

However, Paul isn't the only person who still needs to cough up dough. In America, over 40 million people have student loans, and in Texas, students owed over $75 billion as of 2014.

This isn't the first time someone has been arrested for such a deed. In 2003, several people in Minnesota were booked as part of "Operation Anaconda Squeeze."

Bill's wife will be deposed.

As we previously reported, Camille Cosby had been scheduled to be deposed on January 6 in the defamation case against her husband, Bill Cosby.

The 71-year-old was granted a delay, but despite the appeal from the actor, a judge ordered on Thursday that she will be deposed, but can refuse to answer some specific questions.

In case you didn't know, seven women claim they were drugged and sexually assaulted by the actor, in which he called them liars.

U.S. District Judge Mark Mastroianni wrote of his decision:

"This is a difficult issue as there is very little authority directly on the subject. The court concludes that the marital disqualification rule does apply to deposition testimony. Deponent, when appropriate, may refuse to answer deposition questions which call for testimony prohibited by the rule and not falling within an exception. The court will not quash the deposition subpoena and will not issue a formal protective order."

The deposition is still scheduled for February 22.

Cosby's team has since responded to the news, with spokesman Andrew Wyatt saying:

In October, the New York native received an order from a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, who believes he has "lived an honest and upright life, exhibited good moral character, and conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen."

The pardon reads:

Nicki Minaj Vouches For Meek Mill’s Sobriety During Probation Hearing!

Nicki Minaj is standing by her man.

As we reported, Meek Mill could face jail time for violating his probation after he traveled outside of Philadelphia WITHOUT permission.

Related: Nicki Minaj's Curves Are Out Of Control!

The All Eyes On You rapper was arrested in 2009 on drug and weapons charges, and even violated his probation once before in 2014.

Even with all of this legal turmoil, the 28-year-old has found a way to get himself into even MORE trouble!

Recently, the Philly-native had to submit a urine sample to the court. When the lab technician received it, it turned out to be water.

The musician — whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams — defended his specimen, saying he drinks a lot of water and protein shakes due to his fitness routine.

On Thursday, Minaj appeared in court and reiterated what her man said. She affirms that Williams does NOT do drugs and did NOT botch his urine.

Does the judge believe them?! Time will tell.
