After one man threatened legal action over a cat's residence at Massachusetts' Swansea Public Library -over two THOUSAND people signed a petition to keep the kitty there.
The outpour of support has prompted the man to drop the lawsuit as long as there are signs that warn people there is a cat on the premise.
Here's what the cat hater said:
“The cat has gone all over the world. You’ve got the petition with over 2,000 people over a freaking cat. We’ve got pictures of the cat on Facebook laying on top of a laptop and they think this is ok. I just don’t understand it."
That may be, but people love cats.

We aren't sure whether to thank our lucky stars one of the unjustly imprisoned Pussy Riot girls was freed or whether to continue feeling outraged that Russia's government continues keeping the majority of Pussy on lockdown!
The judge heard appeals from all three girls convicted of hooliganism after their contentious August concert but, deciding Yekaterina was the least incendiary Pussy member, he only set one of the ladies free!

Dr. Conrad Murray is begging the courts to let him keep his medical license, because without it he won't be able to support himself, let alone his criminal case!
Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, says that is client is in financial trouble already, and "without fear of overstatement, hanging on by a thread."

Amanda Bynes had a run-in with the popo in NYC on Thursday night, which resulted in her arrest AND subsequent taking to a psychiatric hospital!
Police showed up at the former child star's midtown apartment after receiving reports of a disorderly person. And that's when shit got crazy!
When the NYPD arrived at Bynes' pad on West 47th Street, she threw a bong out the window, cuz it probably had crack "incense" in it, and she didn't want law enforcement to find it.
Twitter-loving Amanda was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.
After her arrest, Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, and then transferred to a Midtown police station to be processed.
Hopefully they send her BACK to the hospital and put her on a psychiatric hold!
