Something needs to be done to these cruel people!

After a video exposé by PETA (above) caught the manager of a New York dairy farm abusing the cows there, the company has done NOTHING to reprehend him or other abusive employees.

The next time you buy milk at the grocery store, you might feel differently after you learn about a cow's pain.

Dehorning is the very painful process of removing the cartiliginous tissue from cows' heads. The rationale behind this process is safety, but we think the cows would beg to differ.

Cows who were cooped up for the winter months had some pure, happy-cow fun time when they stretched their legs for the first time this spring.

These "dancing" (or leaping, head-rubbing) cows let loose!

How does a person steal 18 cows in the middle of the day??

Connecticut farmer Ledyard E. Lewis was charged Friday (March 16) with animal theft after admitting he was a bovine burglar.

Lewis took the placid beasts from High View Farm in Tiverton, Rhode Island, because he claims farmer Arthur Smith owed him animal feed.

Umm…WHAT? If there is discrepancy over a debt, you don’t go ahead and do the MOST difficult thing ever aka transport 18 cows across state lines without telling anyone…and then admit to it a day later!

Plus, it can't have been enough animal feed to justify 18 cows…those calculations seem a little off.

Now the cows are stuck under quarantine in CT due to laws that require all livestock that cross state borders to be tested for certain diseases.

Once the creatures are deemed healthy, they will be safely returned to their Rhode Island homestead.

EXTREME! We think a phone call would have sufficed…but perhaps that trail had already been blazed?? We like to think so!

Recently, PETA did an undercover investigation at a dairy factory farm.

The farm takes 180,000 pounds of milk from about 1,800 cows… every day!

PETA's undercover investigator found that workers would jab and hit cows with a big pole and the manager would even electro-prod cows in the face.

This is absolutely terrible.

At a livestock show a few cows broke loose!

It was a Houston livestock show and people were forced to round up the escapees.

No one was injured, neither were the cows, though the heifers didn't take too kindly to people trying to end their newfound freedom.
