Ted Cruz Just Tried To Insult The Democrats By Calling Them 'The Party Of Lisa Simpson' — And Twitter Can't Stop Laughing!

Oh, Ted Cruz

In a hilarious self-own from the most disliked man in congress, the Texas Senator said in his CPAC speech on Thursday:

"The Democrats are the party of Lisa Simpson, and Republicans are happily the party of Homer, Bart, Maggie, and Marge."

LOLz, we're pretty sure he was going for the numbers there, but anyone who has seen a single episode of The Simpsons knows that Lisa is the smartest, most reasonable person in a town filled with lovable but insipid buffoons who need to be saved from themselves. LOLz.

Disgusting! NRA Spokeswoman Dana Loesch Says Many In Media 'Love Mass Shootings'!

It's that time of year. The end of February marks Spring when a young man's fancy turns to love. And when shady lobbyists speak openly to their right-wing allies.

Yep, the National Rifle Association has descended on the Conservative Political Action Conference, the annual rally where all the worst Republicans can get together and talk about hating immigrants and the poor without fear of being disagreed with.

This year, the hot-button issue of the moment is of course gun control, and the NRA's Dana Loesch decided to take a shotgun to any teensy shred of good will she garnered by attending CNN's Town Hall meeting with the survivors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

How? Oh, by implying the media want there to be MORE shootings! She said:

Meet The 16-Year-Old Girl Who Singlehandedly Took Down Milo Yiannopoulos

no title

Few people have fallen from grace quicker than Milo Yiannopoulos, the controversial conservative firebrand who lost a book deal, got himself disinvited from CPAC, and resigned from Breitbart.

What a whirlwind!

And while it was due to that shameful pedophilia video and other associated antics, it all comes back to a 16-year-old high school student in Canada who, as Vox describes, "decided Yiannopoulos was embraced much too closely by mainstream conservatives."

The news website has a fascinating piece up today about the teenager behind the Yiannopoulos video and eventual takedown, and it all centers on the teen recognizing that Milo's controversial "free speech" shtick was little more than awfulness:

Kellyanne Conway has a lot of critics, but her biggest nemesis will always be… the dictionary!

Earlier this week, Donald Trump's rusty mouth faucet resurfaced at CPAC where she took issue with feminism — declaring it too "anti-male" and "pro-abortion" for her taste.

The 50-year-old got a ton of backlash over her remarks, mostly because she — like many others — seems to be confused by what "feminism" actually means.

And since Emma Watson is off promoting Beauty and the Beast at the moment, Merriam-Webster stepped in to give POTUS's counselor a much needed vocab lesson!

Kellyanne Conway Resurfaces To SLAM Reports That She Was Sidelined From Making TV Appearances!

We were starting to get worried there, Kellyanne Conway!

Donald Trump's counselor had been noticeably absent from cable news programs over the past week, and for a second there had us thinking she would go the way of Michael Flynn.

It was reported that POTUS's administration had sidelined Conway from making TV appearances after she told MSNBC that then-national security adviser Flynn had Trump's "full confidence" — before he resigned hours later.

But the unraveling ball of yarn resurfaced at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Wednesday, letting us know that she wasn't going anywhere!

Sitting down on Fox News' Hannity, the 50-year-old said reports of her appearances being cut down were just "trying to start up trouble."

She explained that only about "five percent" of her advisory role to Trump involves TV appearances — which she thinks is great because Trump is

Milo Yiannopoulos Named Keynote Speaker At CPAC

no title

In the same breath as Donald Trump's rampant, misguided nationalism, Milo Yiannopoulos has just been mainstreamed into conservative political culture in America.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the controversial and controversy-shadowed Yiannopoulos has officially been tabbed as the keynote speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference, better known as CPAC.

CPAC is the conservative political event of the year every time it comes around, and this one — set for February 22-25 — is going to feature the highly controversial Yiannopoulos more than anyone else, including Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Lou Dobbs, and Scott Walker.

All of those conservative mainstays were given speaking slots at CPAC this year, but none of 'em are the keynote like Milo, who is of course the same man who pushed his trolls towards Leslie Jones on Twitter last year.

Speaking to THR, Milo said of his speech that it will:
