Lots of holidays have festive activities for kids to enjoy- decorating the tree, cutting out hearts, planting a tree.
But what about Rosh Hashanah? Here are some great crafts for your children to make while you ring in the Jewish New Year:
At least that's what Katie thinks. She says:
"I spray-paint shoe racks, because, why not? I think, 'Oh, I'm a great mom' — and then it doesn't really pan out the way I think it's going to. But the intention's there."
Yeah! It's the thought that counts! And not the green spray paint all over Suri's favorite dress!
Oh, we kid Katie! We love arts and crafts! And so does the Romantics star. She says:
"I've always painted and done crafts at home — I have to stay creative in every aspect [of my life]. My sister teaches art, and she gives me a lot of ideas."
So, being artistic runs in the family. Guess you might say it's a result of their Holmes environment! LOLz!

Get your kids feeling the patriotic spirit with these awesome art and crafts ideas that are sure to get your kids' creative juices flowing likes the Nile river!
Here is one amazing idea from Lilsugar:
"Supplies - Red spray paint, mason jar, star stickers, newspaper.
Instructions - Then scatter star stickers onto the mason jar, make sure they're stuck on very tight. Screw on the mason jar lid and cap and place on top of a table covered in newspaper in a well ventilated area Spray with the paint from a nice distance around the entire jar until it's coated well but without drips. Wait at least a couple hours for the jar to dry and carefully peel off the star stickers. Place 2-3 battery operated votive candles in each jar and enjoy your festive 4th of July evening! "
We guarantee your kids will be super impressed by all of these ridiculously cool projects, and will absolutely get them in party mode for America's birthday!
