Miranda Cosgrove learned this the hard way on Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theater in El Lay.

The actress wore a Collette Dinnigan dress that boasted a metal beaded bodice and ostrich feathered skirt.

Sky high platform Brian Atwood pumps completed the ensemble and certified the ensemble as flapper-status.

This looked like something better suited for a night out than an afternoon awards show, but whatevs, it was cute!

Christina Hendricks once again confounded everyone at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in El Lay on Saturday.

The Mad Men actress graced the red carpet in a bold floral print Omar the Tent Maker Jenny Packham gown that did absolutely nothing for her infamous curves.

Between the giant bow, draped fabric and long flowy skirt, Christina was practically drowning in fabric.

At least her Judith Lieber hand-beaded Austrian crystal minaudier some stylish bling.

Holy tangerine mother of style!

Victoria Justice looked brazilliant on Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in El Lay.

The Victorious starlet wore a One by Contrarian maxi gown in Nickelodeon orange, that was the definition of understated glamor.

Because she already has such a pretty face, Victoria opted for minimal makeup and gold butterfly wing Swarovski earrings to match her Oroton clutch and Badgley Mischka peep toe heels.

She's only 19 year old, but after this fine showing, we have a feeling Miz Justice is going to be one to watch on the red carpet!

HBO must be feeling pretty good right now!

They've already been honored with 17 Emmys this week, and the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards aren't even airing until September 23rd!

But luckily for them, that's why we have the Creative Arts Emmys, which honor the TV achievements that producers don't have time to include in the airing of official ceremony, and during yesterday's event at the Nokia Theatre, the cable network was the big winner, with their series Game of Thrones taking home six trophies, including costumes, make-up and special visual effects!

Meanwhile, Kathy Bates was honored as Best Guest Actress in a Comedy for her version of Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, and Downton Abbey and Homeland both took home awards each!

One show that DIDN'T get any wins, however, was Mad Men!

But we think we all know that they'll get enough of those at Primetime!

What happened?

After looking faboosh at last weekends Creative Arts Emmy awards, Kathy Griffin was back to her mediocre at best wardrobe on Sunday night.

Kathy wore an inneresting black gown that had some sort of mirrored accents on the bottom of it.

Whatever it is, it looks cheap and exactly what someone on the D-List could get loaned to them.

What a good looking couple!

Funny lady Wanda Sykes and her wife Alex both looked fab on the red carpet at Saturday's Creative Arts Emmy Awards event.

Wanda showed off her gams in a purple sequined mini while Alex wore a chic white pant suit with a black floral accent on the jacket.
