Martha Stewart's Daughter Says Criticism About Her Mother In New Book Was "A Joke"

Alexis Stewart, daughter of Martha Stewart, has always been pretty open about her relationship with her mother. While the two are very close, Alexis has had no problem airing their dirty laundry.

And nothing's changed in her new book Whateverland where she criticizes her mother's parenting saying that sometimes there wasn't any "prepared food in the home" and she would make her wrap her own Christmas presents.

Oh boo-hoo! Cry us a river, Alexis.

During a very awkward Today show appearance, Alexis says that all those criticisms about her mother were "a joke" and they were "supposed to be funny."

Ha Ha. It's also pretty funny that her entire career revolves around her mother's success.

Watch her uncomfortable interview above.

P.S. The whole exchange between Alexis and her "former" BFF Jennifer Koppelman Hutt is just as weird and awkward too. Poor Jennifer! Honey, good riddance! You are better off having Alexis out your life!

Shameful! Puerto Rican Cardinal Slams Ricky Martin For 'Promoting' Homosexuality!

puerto-rican-cardinal-slams-ricky-martin-for-promoting-homosexuality

Truly unbelievable, and most importantly, WRONG.

Now that Ricky Martin has come out as a proud gay man, Cardinal Luis Aponte Martinez of San Juan Puerto Rico, has condemned the pop star and begged him to stop 'promoting' his homosexuality - all for the sake of his children!

He said:

“Personally, I admire Ricky for the great artistic gifts the Lord has endowed him, but please, for the love of his children, for whom I imagine he wants the best, try to set an example to our youth of the great values we all share, besides sex. The Roman Catholic church does not reject the homosexual [but] their immoral actions and behaviors, and trying to promote homosexuality or sexual promiscuity among our youth, indeed, is immoral regardless of where it comes from.”

Ugh. We wonder if he even realizes how deeply hurtful those comments must be.

Homosexuality and promiscuity DO NOT come hand in hand, and the fact that he would even suggest that him being a brave, open man unafraid to be honest about sexual preference is damaging to his CHILDREN, whom we're sure he would put everything aside in order to protect, is just shameful.

If anything, he's teaching his kids to accept and love all parts of yourself, which is something we thought that Roman Catholic Church ALSO teaches!

We think gay rights activist Pedro Julio Serrano said it best when he responded to the criticism with the following:

“Homophobia disguised as religion and under the pretext of freedom of speech is still homophobia and it kills. Enough of wanting to impose a moral vision of human sexuality. Sexual orientation is an innate characteristic of the human condition that cannot be changed, it is not a behavior, it is not a disease, and it is not synonymous with promiscuity as argued by Cardinal Aponte Martinez.”

Well said!

The Cardinal should be ASHAMED of himself, and we hope he seriously re-evaluates the kind of message he's trying to promote to families who may not have a 'traditional' background!

And, as for Ricky, we hope that he continues to do exactly what he's doing, because he is, and continues to be, an inspiration for many!

Here She Goes Again! Victoria Jackson Claims To Not Be Homophobic, Wants To Prove It!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooTV NewsGay Gay Gay

victoria-jackson-wants-to-go-on-wife-swap-to-prove-shes-not-homophobic

Ha! As if anyone even cares about her ignorance enough to want to see her back on TV!

Victoria Jackson, the former Saturday Night Live castmember who caused some controversy last month when she criticized Kurt and Blaine's romance on Glee for being "sickening," now claims that she's not, in fact, homophobic, and wants to prove it to the world by going on Wife Swap with a gay couple!

She writes:

“My agent thinks they'd swap me with a gay couple. That would be great because then I could show the world that I love gay people and I'm not the homophobic hate-monger the media are making me out to be. The other perk is that I could afford that Tacoma pick-up truck I want and pay off my credit card.”

She also claims that Glee is a well-written show, but “it's a shame they have to sprinkle immorality all over it.”

Oh, okay. We were confused. You're NOT homophobic and you love gay people, but showing same-sex characters falling in love is immoral?

We can't figure out if she really doesn't realize how ignorant and offensive she is, or if she does, and is just trying to drum up some press for herself!

Either way - it's pretty deplorable!

But good luck paying off that credit card, gurl!

Howard Stern Slams Prince For Kicking Kim Kardashian Off The Stage During His Concert!

howard-stern-attacks-prince-for-kim-kardashian-incident

Wow! She is the LAST person we would expect him to defend!

Howard Stern, who is an admitted huge fan of Prince, was apparently not too pleased to hear about the recent stunt the singer pulled when he invited Kim Kardashian on stage, but then kicked her off when she wouldn't dance for him!

During his radio show, he said:

"He seems to be an arrogant asshole lately. The guy is just weird, he gives concerts with the lights out. She doesn't know what to do. Apparently she's supposed to dance like a stripper for him and she just stood there not knowing what to do. He throws her off the stage because she can't read fucking Prince's mind. He's a bullshit artist. I'm done with him."

Ouch! Tell us how you REALLY feel, bb!

We agree that it was a bit of an insensitive move and Kim must have been pretty mortified, but he invited her back up at the end, so there's no need for anyone to be upset!

Can't we all just get along?! Ha!

LOLz!

Original Skins Castmember Slams American Version!

kaya-scodelario-criticizes-american-skins-remake

We're right there with you, gurl!

The amazing Kaya Scodelario, who portrayed our beloved Effy on the first four seasons of the UK series Skins, apparently managed to catch Monday's premiere of the US remake on MTV, and took to Twitter to address some 'concerns' she had about the direction it took!

She wrote:

Hi every1.Still on holiday with the girls in beautiful jamaica! We watched the American skinsNa mate! Brits did it better…

Can't believe it was bleeped! That's not what skins is about. And making effy blonde? WTF!but good luck 2 them anyway, not about being a hater.

But I did quite like the us shameless

Ha! Agreed!

Shameless has certainly been done right - because it's on SHOWTIME and doesn't have to be censored - and also because it's not afraid to be different from its predecessor!

The US Skins is like going back to your hometown and catching up with old friends. It's essentially the same, but everyone is slightly off, and annoying enough to make you wonder why you liked them in the first place.

Take it from the original Effy, guys! You're missing the point of the show, so before it's too late, we'd suggest thinking about what YOU'RE trying to accomplish with it, instead of being married to a concept that doesn't translate culturally to the states!

Thoughts??

Ungrateful! The Mush Slams The O.C.!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooTV NewsMischa Barton

wenn2964544hjb.jpg

Sounds like somebody's a little bitter that she willingly gave up her only shot at relevancy!

That mess Mushy Farton recently put down her bong long enough to talk about her time on The O.C., and she couldn't even think of anything nice to say about the smash show!

She mushes:

"As fun as it was and cool as it was, it spawned all these reality TV shows like The Real O.C. and The Real Laguna or whatever. That's gotten a bit out of control… For me, it's a bit funny because I feel like I almost aided the problem for young girls and for that genre."

Seriously, Mush Mush??

We're pretty sure that you have always been much more of a trainwreck than Marissa Cooper, so maybe you should be grateful that you even had the opportunity to be a part of the series!

You know, until you decided you were better than it and subsequently killed your career by quitting!

Ne-Yo Criticizes T.I., Then Takes It Back!!

neytiwenn.jpg

He just loves opening up his mouth!

Yesterday, Ne-Yo criticized T.I.'s recent drug arrest - where Ecstasy pills were found in the car of his and his wife Tameka Cottle's car - by telling the press, "I just feel that he makes a lot of poor decisions when it comes to the people that he surrounds himself with. Nine times out of 10 when [T.I.] gets in trouble, it's not him, it's the people that he's with."

Ouch!

Well, now the singer is backtracking what he said and has posted some new words of wisdom on his Twitter:

Ok folks. I ain't even see what they're claiming I said, but in the everybody's so mad, I'm sure they misquoted me……

…So from the horses mouth, HERE'S what I said about the T.I. situation.I said that T.I. is one of the smartest people in the game, but…

….Sometimes the people surrounding you, get you in more trouble than you yourself do. I ain't down talk nobody, I spoke my opinion…

…because I was asked it. Half of y'all speak your opinion whether somebody asks you or not! I got no beef wit T.I. or his team….

…That ain't my shit to beef with people over nothing. If T.I. or any of his people wanna sit down like men and discuss it, I'm down….

…Much luv to the people that support T.I. Shit I'M A SUPPORTER of T.I., so I understand your anger……

…But from now on, if you wanna know if I said something, the internet ain't the proper source. Hit me up on here and ask before you assume

I got nothin' to hide, and you already see that I'll answer whatever. No drama or beef on my end. Nuff said.

Nice save, Ne-Yo!
