Atlanta Star Pulls A Kanye West On The Critics' Choice Awards Stage When Silicon Valley Wins Best Comedy Series!

Well, that was unexpected!

HBO's Silicon Valley won Best Comedy Series at the 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards, beating out Veep, Atlanta, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Black-ish, Fleabag, and Modern Family.

While that wasn't too surprising, what happened next certainly was.

Actor LaKeith 'Keith' Stanfield took the stage to thank the Broadcast Critics Association for rewarding all the hard work he and the cast and crew did on Silicon Valley.

But the thing is, Keith Stanfield isn't on Silicon Valley. He's part of the supporting cast of FX's Atlanta.

Viola Davis Is Honored With The Feminist #SeeHer Award At The Critics' Choice Awards — 'The Privilege Of A Lifetime Is Being Who You Are'

We can't think of a more deserving actress!

On Sunday, the talented and inspirational Viola Davis was honored with the #SeeHer Award, a prize designed to highlight women dedicated to "advancing the movement to accurately portray women and girls in media". The honor comes on the heels of the 51-year-old's successful career in television and female-centric charity work.

Well, it sounds like the Critics' Choice Awards were right on the money. Ms. Davis has always been a role model for women and girls who wish to excel on talent and authenticity rather than their looks!

In the actress' acceptance speech, she poked fun at herself for trying to lose weight when she was first started out. Sadly, it's an all too common story.

After a lot of soul searching and confidence building, Viola finally came to a realization about her self-worth, revealing:

"… then I asked myself why do I have to do all that? The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. I recently embraced that at fifty-one."

Well said, girl! Your beautiful soul shines in all you do!

So, what did YOU think of the celeb's speech?

T.J. Miller Brings The Weird Back To The Critics' Choice Awards — See His Super Meta Political Rant HERE!

T.J. Miller is the perfect choice to host the Critics' Choice Awards.

He's appearing on a hit TV show, in an upcoming movie, and in court some time next month after his arrest earlier this weekend. Ha!

Srsly, everyone wondered if the comedian would address his arrest, but instead he talked Donald Trump, the anniversary of A Chorus Line, and celebrity soapboxes.

Things got political, things got weird, and things got meta.
