Kate Middleton has some major competition from her own son!
It's pretty well known how well the Duchess influences sales of clothing and accessories simply by wearing them — we have an entire list of all the items that have sold out after she's worn them!

But ever since his birth Prince George has been hot on mummy's heels, selling out all types of baby stuff himself!
The most recent item is the pair of Crocband clogs the almost 2-year-old wore during a charity polo match (above) on June 14 in Gloucestershire.
Daniel Silverfield, head of vendor management, shoes at Amazon.co.uk, said that afterwards sales of the shoe rose 1,500%!
"Once again, Prince George proves there's no age limit on being a fashion icon. We've seen a 16-fold increase in sales of kids' Crocband shoes at Amazon.co.uk since the photo of him wearing a pair was released."
We will admit that the shoes are adorable on George's tiny feet.
But just wait until Princess Charlotte is photographed in cute little outfits!
We can already predict she'll outsell mom AND big bro!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Crocs and running shoes reproduced?
Of course not, because those would be some seriously heinous shoes, but that didn't stop Crosskix from making some!
The footwear company boasts their $50 running shoes are not only lightweight, comfy and easy to clean, but also "sexy".
Umm, we're going to agree to disagree on that one, but we will give Crossfix props for making them out of 100% recyclable material.
We also think it's great that they'll take the rubber out of old pairs to help build playgrounds, tracks, and courts or repair the shoe and donate them to kids around the globe.
Who knew so much good could come out of such an unattractive shoe?

Liar, liar, crocs on fire!
Crocs co-founder George Boedecker Jr., who previously pled not guilty to driving drunk back in August, has come clean, admitting to authorities that he was indeed drunk the day cops found him passed out in the front seat of his Porsche.
You don't say!
We were convinced he was sober when he went on his cop-insulting rant and accused Taylor Swift of being behind the wheel.
The 51-year-old amended his plea on Thursday, and was subsequently sentenced to two years probation and 96 hours of community service.
We hope next time he thinks twice before blaming America's sweetheart for his substance abuse problems.
Also, he should just consider walking to his next destination.
Crocs may be hideous, but they're super comfy!

File this under WTF.
Crocs Inc. co-founder, George Brian Boedecker Jr., was popped for a DUI in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday after passing out in in his Porshe and apparently it's all Taylor Swift's fault.

They're getting it!
Instead of spending hours on new ways to sell classic rubber clog, the team behind Crocs shoe realized variety in business is key.
Thanks to their new thinking, the numbers have seen a dramatic increase. In fact, 54% of current sales come from the new line of wedges, flats, and peep-toes.
CEO John McCarvel said of the epiphany:
"Our main focus today is getting new customers to understand that we're no longer just a clog. I think this is our biggest challenge as a brand today - getting people to take a look at us in a different way. We had to innovate our way out of the situation we had put ourselves in."
And that they did!
As we've previously discussed, Crocs is no longer falling down a bankrupt black hole and if business keeps going the way it is, it's going to be a while before they ever have to worry about that again!
Take a look at some of their new styles (below)! What do U think??

We were pleasantly surprised when Crocs hit its $1 billion mark, and we're happy to report the super light shoes are continuing their rise in sales.
So they're looking forward with an upbeat approach in their business tactics.
Crocs President and CEO John McCarvel explains:
The first quarter will be an investment quarter as the company continues to close underperforming kiosks and enter large retailers.
Actions such as taking distributors in-house, creating license agreements and geographic expansion are beginning to turn Crocs into a legitimate brand.
We are developing seasonally appropriate products including a broader line of sneakers and boots that will allow us to stay relevant. Early feedback on the line, coupled with early pre-books, indicates we’re making good progress.
Always important to adapt!! Very important to add in some variety too!!
