Does this mean we get to see doggie detective digging up doggie mysteries?!?!?!
CSI's showrunner, Carol Mendelsohn, will be bringing Justin Silver's new show, Dogs in the City, to CBS.
Similar to the Dog Whisperer, Silver, a comedian and trainer, will help owners get on top of the pooch's behavioral problems.
Says Mendelsohn of the series:
Dogs are at the center of the story here, but this is a show that reveals as much about human nature as man's best friend.
We can't wait to see it…but if you want to do a dog version of CSI, we'll help with that too!

Sources are predicting…yes, at least one of them may very well get cancelled at the end of the season.
Sadly for fans of the show
with way too many shows, the ratings aren't doing so well and the network will most likely need to cancel at least one more hour-long drama to make room for new pilots this fall.
Analysts are pointing to either CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, or The Good Wife to be taken off the schedule on top of A Gifted Man and Unforgettable.
If CBS decides to introduce more half-hour sitcoms, expect

Welp! Fans may be sad that Marg Helgenberger is no longer on CSI, but at least it got their attention!!
The show has been seeing higher ratings since her January exit, and the message boards are ablaze!!
Of course, just because she's gone now doesn't mean she'll be gone forever. Apparently the producers told her she can come whenever she wants — for however long as she wants it sounds like!!

Wow. Has it been 11 seasons already?
Marg Helgenberger, better known as CSI's Catherine Willows, is saying farewell to the show she's been the star of since the beginning of the new millennium.
If you are a fan, make sure to catch her final two episodes airing January 18th and 25th, in which Catherine will make a life-changing decision that forces her to leave the team for good.
The teaser (above) already has us in tears! We have a feeling these are going to be VERY emotional episodes.
In case you're wondering who could ever replace her, it will be your favorite babysitter to have adventures with, Elisabeth Shue! She'll be playing a character named Julie Finlay who is introduced in February.
Do U think the show will be the same without Marg?

J Mac is coming to CBS!
Jesse McCartney will have a guest spot on CSI as a college grad named Wes.
Wes crashes his car after passing out at the wheel. He bonds with one of the investigators as they try to figure out what happened to him.
Reportedly, Jesse's guest spot will also coincide with Elisabeth Shue's addition the cast.
We're excited about J Mac's appearance and can't wait for the season 12 episode!
