Culture Club singer and '80s icon Boy George is back into our lives, back into our hearts, and, most importantly, back into our ears!!!
Boy George is actually pushing out a new album! His first studio album in 18 freakin' years!!! Incredible!!!
Ah, and what is even more incredible is that we here at PerezHilton.com have your FIRST LISTEN to his first single, King of Everything! Can. You. STAND IT????
Ch-ch-check out the first single from the record (above)!
Whoa!!! What a blast from the past!!!
What do U think, readers? Does this compare to hits like Karma Chameleon and The Crying Game?
Ouch! That looks like it hurt!
While leaving a North Yorkshire England club on Saturday night, Boy George took a serious
beating poking to his right eye. A drunken female reportedly "lunged for his hat," but accidentally shoved her finger in his eye by mistake, as a spokesman for the venue explained:
Worth the wait, we think!
If you follow Boy George on Twitter, you know that the former Culture Club star has been clearing out his London home and has been tweeting about all the fun stuff he's been finding. Recently, he uncovered a letter from a devoted fan from ten years ago, asking him to sign the enclosed CC album, Colour By Numbers.
To the fan's delight and surprise, shortly after, he finally received his signed album, with love from George!
The man, Peter J Anderson, raved to a local newspaper how thrilled he was to get the album back. He said:
"This has taken me on such a nostalgia trip. I'd forgotten all about it… it must have been 10 or even 12 years ago that I sent it to him."
As for George, he's just happy he was able to get in contact with the guy. He posted on his Twitter, "It's brilliant that it got to him after all these years. Better late than never!"
That's for sure! So nice!

It's really going to be a happy new year come 2012 for all you Culture Club fans!
In honor of the band's 30th anniversary, Boy George has confirmed that the whole gang Roy Hay, Mikey Craig, Jon Moss and Sam Baker will get back together, eight years after they've split. George sounds pretty excited about the reunion, especially since it's happening before he gets too old! He explains:
"We're definitely doing it, yeah, yeah, in 2012. Our D-Day is April 30, which is the same day as our first ever single release, White Boy, and yeah, we're doing it, it's going to be great fun…If we don't do it now we'll do it when we're 60, which will be really tragic. In fact, when I do this tour next year I will be 50 officially, because I'm 50 on the 14 of June - in eight months time!"
Though George wouldn't offer anymore deets, it's thought that the band will be hitting the studio early next year to begin a new album and a comeback tour is also in the works!
We're excited! How about you?!
