Cheryl Hines Buys Golf Club

Not like an entire golf club with a restaurant and golf course — just a plain old golf club.

Confused? Just look at the picture.

Cheryl Hines of Curb Your Enthusiams picked up a golf club in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon.

It’s perfect weather in LA to hit the links!

Paul Reiser On His Return To TV

paul reiser on his return to tv

Last month, we were excited to report that Aliens' Mad About You's Paul Reiser is returning to TV with NBC's The Paul Reiser Show!

Now, Reiser has opened up about his return to the small screen. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I felt America needed me…I'm joking. I wasn't at all looking for it."

"There was no plan. This came about when a nice executive from Warner Bros. called me and said, 'We'd like for you to develop something for you.' And I'm nothing, if not susceptible to flattery and nice things, so I just wrote my life and when it was done, I thought, 'This is very fun. I know people would watch this.' It felt like the timing was right."

And here's Reiser on an upcoming appearance by Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David on his show:

"I called Larry and I said, 'I'm sure you're not going to want to do this, but we wrote this part for you and you gotta do it,' And he was so gracious and he said, 'Here' s the thing, I don't like to memorize scripts so we'll improvise it.' And I said, 'Done, let's do that.' And then I got very nervous to be honest because he's brilliant and he's developed that art form."

A Paul Reiser/Larry David combo? Sounds good to us!

Glad to have you back on TV, Paul! It just feels right.

We're thinking/hoping that you'll be in our lives for a very long time to come. Let's be honest…at this point, we've known you long enough that we kind of trust your ability to make us laugh.

Are U looking forward to the return of Paul Reiser?

Kathy Griffin Says Good-Bye To My Life On The D-List, Talks Life After!

This is such a bummer! But we can understand why it would be time.

After a bit of speculation as to whether or not it would continue, Kathy Griffin has officially announced that her Bravo reality series, My Life On The D-List, will be coming to an end after six seasons!

But don't worry! If you still need your Kathy fix, network executive Andy Cohen revealed that they'll be airing four of her brand new comedy specials, set to drop quarterly in 2011!

Cohen said in a statement:

"There is no better way to start off 2011 than giving Kathy Griffin an unprecedented four new stand-up comedy specials on Bravo in one year. Kathy's quick fire humor and ability to tap into pop culture make for must watch television."

And Kathy herself explains:

"It was a really tough decision because I think of the D-List as pretty much my baby for the last six seasons and I also think it was really time to stop doing it. Reality is great, but I really didn't set out to be a reality star. So now it's time to spread my wings and show that I'm a little different than Kate Gosselin. I'm not saying better, but maybe separate myself from the pack a little bit. I just cannot get enough or do enough stand-up. And there's so much fun stuff going on – from Oprah's launch of [cable network] OWN … not to mention the new Paula Abdul show [Live to Dance] or who knows what celebrity run-in I've had myself. [I'm] trying to keep the material as up to the minute as possible. Audiences know when they come to see me live, they're going to see new stuff. [And] as long as there's a show called My Strange Addiction about a woman who only eats toilet paper … then I have to do stand up."

And that's not all! The comedienne is also hoping to get back into sitcoms, and even do a Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque improvised series with "some characters from the D-List that you've come to love, and then maybe I'll have actors play a couple other characters that are from my real life."

NICE! We'd take that in lieu of the reality series any day!

It certainly sounds like you've got a lot of cool stuff in the works for 2011, bb!

We're DEFINITELY excited to see what you've got for us!

Best of luck!

Thoughts??

George Costanza Is Coming Back To TV!

jason-alexander-set-to-star-in-new-cbs-comedy

We guess that guest-starring stint on Curb Your Enthusiasm got them back in TV mode!

On the heels of former Seinfeld co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus' announcement that she is starring on a new HBO show, Jason Alexander has reportedly signed on to a CBS hour-long series, as its star AND executive producer!

The so-far-untitled comedy will feature Alexander as "a former TV star who's down on his luck and winds up joining his ex-wife's detective agency. Once there, the character reinvents himself as an investigator with a penchant for disguise."

Hmm - sounds a little silly to us, but if anyone can pull it off, it's him!

We're very curious to see how this one turns out!

What do U think?? Will U watch Alexander's new show??

Curb Goes To NYC

Most of next season's Curb Your Enthusiasm will be filmed in New York City instead of El Lay according to actress Susie Essman.

"They all live in LA," she says. "And for seven seasons, I've been schlepping out there. Now I get to sleep in my own bed. Let them stay in hotels."

Production is set to begin in July and the show will air early next year. As for the plot, it's still a mystery to the actors. Essman continues:

"None of the other actors get to see them ahead of time. They just show up on the set, and they're told what the scene is, and they just do it. The reason Larry [David] does that is that he doesn't want anybody lying in bed at night coming up with what they think are funny lines.

"I have not seen any outlines. I just know we're shooting a bunch in New York. That makes me really happy."

We love New York!

Are U looking forward to the next (and likely final) season of Curb?
