A nutz California man strapped 15 live lizards to his chest and tried to walk through customs at Los Angeles International Airport
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says Michael Plank of Lomita was returning from Australia when customs agents found two geckos, two monitor lizards and 11 smaller lizards fastened to his body.
He has been sentenced to 15 months in prison and was also fined $2,000 and will be on supervised release for three years after completing his sentence.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Dennis Mitchell says the animals are at the San Diego Zoo but he wouldn’t comment on what would happen to them.

A man was stopped going through customs at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC after elephant tails and a dried hedgehog were found in his suitcase.
The man from Ghana said they were for "spiritual purposes", but never declared them on his customs form. Instead he referred to them as dried herbs and clothing.
Umm, big difference pal.
The items were eventually burned after customs officials believed they could be carrying diseases.

We just don't want you here, Pete!
Pete Doherty flew into New York with hopes of performing a gig with Sean Lennon, but customs officials put his ass back on a flight to London just a few hours later due to his shady past with drugs.
"He thought he could get away with it. He was wrong," a friend of Pete's says.
Sean apparently stressed at the show that it wasn't Doperty's fault he missed the show on Thursday.
We beg to differ — he shouldn't have agreed to the show at all knowing he hardly had a chance to come in to the country.

Bar Refaeli has gotten herself into some trouble with the law again. Thankfully this time it's nothing too major like bailing on her taxes!
The supermodel was making her way through customs in the Tel Aviv airport when she was busted for not declaring her new iPad.
Bar claims she didn't declare it on her form because she was only their for a brief commercial appearance.
Now she is required to pay $170 in taxes and fines to get it back.
Bet she won't do that again!

New York isn't the only state with counterfeit fashion.
Over on the left coast, customs seized fake Versace, Louis Vuitton and Coach sunglasses from both the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach on Thursday.
The 156,900 are said to be valued over $18.6 million.
Wonder if these will be sent to Haiti along with all the other douchey counterfeits???
