Miley Cyrus Sports Unsettling Scratches On Her Wrists While Leaving Pilates

Miley Cyrus unsettling wrist scars

Woah! We didn't notice THIS when we saw Miley Cyrus rushing out of a pilates class on Thursday!

Is it just us or do those scratches look like they could possibly be from cutting?

Don't scare us like this, gurl!

We've spotted a similar sighting before and Mileybird denied any problems with self-harm, but never gave an explanation as to how the mysterious marks appeared.

We sincerely hope there is a simple explanation for the scrapes and they are not self-inflicted wounds.

Maybe her dogs just got a little rowdy during play time…

Baby's Hands Miraculously Reattached After Grandmother Cut Them Off!

babyhandscutoffgrandma.jpg

An 8-month-old Chinese baby is under observation as it recovers from a 12 hour operation to reattach her hands.

As if that isn't enough scary news, it was reportedly her grandmother who cut them off in the first place.

What??!!

The injured baby was discovered by her mother who had just come home from work.

Here's what a neighbor said:

"She dashed down holding her baby, who was covered with blood. The baby's hands were gone."

The grandmother is currently in a coma at the hospital after an apparent suicide attempt.

The mother rushed her baby to the hospital where surgeons fused together severed bones, blood vessels, nerves and skin.

The bright spot for the traumatized mother and child is that as long as the surgery is successful, the long term prognosis is good.

Here's what a doctor said:

"You essentially stitch the two ends together, but it takes a while for the nerve to regenerate And a child is absolutely perfect in terms of healing potential. Often there is some loss of fine motor function. But if it's a wrist-level injury, and a clean cut, we would expect extremely good hand function."

We have no idea what that grandmother was thinking, but we're glad the little baby should be A-OK - it's a big relief!

The King's Speech Director Does NOT Want To Re-Cut The Film For A PG-13 Rating

the kings speech director wont cut film

Given all the awards that The King's Speech has been nominated for AND won, MAYBE it's good as it is???

Harvey Weinstein doesn't seem to think so, and he's working on a new marketing strategy to clean up profane dialogue from the film, in an effort to bring it down to a PG-13 rating.

The King's Speech director Tom Hooper does not support making any cuts to the film, and we don't blame him in the least!

Here's what Hooper had to say about it:

"I wouldn't support cutting the film in any way. I think we looked at whether it's possible to bleep out the f*cks and stuff, but I'm not going to actually cut that part."

Good for you, Tom! You directed a wonderful film, which is a strong candidate for Best Picture at the Oscars, and it would be absurd for you to have to cut the film at this stage of the game!

To quote the Beatles' immortal words, let it be, Harvey!

Do U think The King's Speech should be cut? Or should it stay as is?

Knowledge Is Power! Meat To Get Nurtrition Labels In 2012

meat to get nutrition labels in 2012

We wonder if we'll be happy OR unhappy with what we find out.

The U.S. Dept of Agriculture announced today that starting Jan 1 2012, meats will require nutrition labels.

The labels will tell you everything you always wanted to know about meat (but were afraid to ask). They'll include information on calories and fat cals, total fat and saturated fat, protein, sodium, and vitamins.

Here's what New York University professor of nutrition Marion Nestle had to say about the new labels:

"This will be very helpful to people who are bewildered by what's in meat, but people will be quite shocked at the calories and fat."

Here's what Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack had to say about the labels:

"There's a growing concern about the growing problem of obesity. So I think it is appropriate for us to provide as much concrete information to consumers as we possibly can, without overwhelming them, so they can make good solid decisions about how many calories they're consuming and how much activity they need."

As long as you continue to eat meat in moderation, and stay away from overly fatty cuts, we're thinking there's no reason to get TOO nervous to learn the truth but maybe just a little nervous.
