Here's Why The Flash's Grant Gustin Couldn't Be In Batman V Superman!

Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is only a few days away from being released and we're getting more and more excited for the superhero team up.

We already knew that the film will feature both Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as the caped crusader, as well as Gal Gadot's highly anticipated introduction as Wonder Woman, but there are some other heroes showing up too!

Not only is Ray Fisher popping up as Cyborg, but Jason Mamoa will have an appearance as Aquaman, as will Ezra Miller's The Flash!

But wait, don't we already have a Flash in Grant Gustin thanks to the CW's hit show??

Ever since Miller's casting was announced though, there's been a question about why the studio didn't try and link the television universe — The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, DC Legends of Tomorrow — to what they were doing cinematically.

While plenty of stars have spoken about the issue including Gustin and Arrow's Stephen Amell, Snyder finally opened up about why he didn't cast Gustin, saying:

Rachel Bloom Acts Like A Crazy Ex-Girlfriend As She Runs To The Stage To Accept The Best Actress In A Comedy Prize At The 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards!

YASS KWEEN!

One week after winning big at the Golden Globes, Rachel Bloom won for Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the Critics' Choice Awards. LOVES it!

The musical comedienne was as excited as we were for her big win as she RAN to the stage to accept the prize for her role in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. LOLz!

We're not too shocked by Rachel's win since the CW comedy has been a critical darling since it premiered. Though, the brunette beauty DID beat out fellow industry vets Aya Cash for You're the Worst, Wendi McLendon-Covey for The Goldbergs, Gina Rodriguez for Jane the Virgin, Tracee Ellis Ross for Black-ish, and Constance Wu for Fresh Off the Boat.

New DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Trailer Gives Us All The Time Traveling Superhero Action We Need — Watch HERE!

Ready for a blast from the past?

Arrow and The Flash have both been big hits for the CW, helping pave the way for CBS' Supergirl — which is produced by some of the same people.

In January the CW is getting ANOTHER superhero show from the super-producers, this time centering around characters from both Arrow and Flash!

DC's Legends Of Tomorrow will feature Brandon Routh as Atom, Caity Lotz as White Canary, and of course Doctor Who's Arthur Darvill as the time traveling Rip Hunter — along with a few other favorites — as they travel through time to stop the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The show doesn't premiere until January 21, but you can check out the heroes kick some butt and travel through time in the new trailer (above)!

The Flash & Arrow Crossover Trailer Brings The Action & Teases An Epic New Villain — Check It Out HERE!

Who doesn't love a crossover?

The CW is the home of superheroes on television right now, with both The Flash and Arrow — and most importantly, the annual tradition of the crossover episode!

A sneak peek pic from the crossover event that was released last week already showed us that we'd get to see Ciara Renée's Hawkgirl and Falk Hentschel's Hawkman, but now we know the episodes have another treat in store.

The two-episode event will not only set up the spinoff series Legends of Tomorrow, it will also introduce Casper Crump as the immortal villain Vandal Savage before he heads over to the new show!

You Can FINALLY Stream The O.C. Online — But Only With THIS Service!

YAASSSSS! We've been waiting forever for this!

California, here we come!

We're thrilled that we can finally stream The O.C. online! For years, the popular program was nowhere to be found on Hulu, Amazon, or even Netflix!

But now, the FOX drama can be watched on the internet, thanks to CW's service CW Seed!

That's right! All 92 episodes — that initially aired from 2003 to 2007 — are completely accessible, allowing you to relive the terrific teen television show!

There are so many comic book and superhero shows on TV right now it can be hard to keep track of!
