Lame! We wanted to see this!

HBO has announced that they will not be picking up the proposed Diane Keaton pilot Tilda, which was set to be about an influential Hollywood blogger!

Sources explain that "despite everyone's best efforts," the original showrunner Cynthia Mort left the project behind, and with the actors' - Keaton, Ellen Page, and Jason Patric - contracts expiring in March, the network decided to just cut their losses and let it go!

Well, at least they have Charlie Sheen's new pilot to fill whatever spot this would have taken! Ha!

Seriously though, this is kind of a shame!

Oh well! What can you do?

Wowsa!

Mary J. Blige has signed on to play legendary jazz singer Nina Simone in Cynthia Mort's Nina.

The story centers around Simone's relationship with her assistant Clifton Henderson, who will be played by David Oyelowo.

Filming is scheduled for this fall.

Multiple sources are reporting that the Oscar-winning actress may be signing on for the title role in the HBO series Tilda!!

Bill Condon and Cynthia Mort are behind the series, which involves an extremely influential and hardcore Hollywood blogger!

Relax. It's apparently based on Nikki Finke, not us.

We still think it sounds like it could be awesome! We love us some Diane Keaton!!
