Danity Kane's Shannon Revives Damaged With Acoustic Cover!

Step aside, Aubrey O'Day!

Though one ex-Danity Kane member got some more time in the spotlight recently with her Celebrity Apprentice stint, we can't forget about the other Diddy-chosen girls!

While the girls split in '09 and DK's Shannon Bex claims she's onto the next chapter, it surely didn't stop her from recording a vid of her singing one of the group's biggest hits!

Check out a vid (above) of Shannon performing an acoustic version of Damaged!!!

Ooh! Pretty! We might just like this MORE than the original!

We totally aren't against a Danity Kane reunion, by the way…! Diddy? Anybody?! Show-show stoppin'???

U.S. Halts Imports Of Japanese Dairy And Produce

Japanese produce

As a result of Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex leaking radiation after it was damaged in the devastating earthquake and tsunami earlier this month, the United States will halt imports of dairy products and produce from Japan.

The FDA said those foods will be detained at entry and will not be sold to the public, but other foods, including seafood will be screened for radiation and sold.

Despite the fears of the food being exposed to nuclear radiation, officials say the doses are low and not a threat to human health unless consumed in excessive quantities.

Japanese foods make up less then 4 percent of all U.S. imports and the FDA expects no risk to the U.S. food supply from radiation.

For our sake (and yours), we hope they are right!

Seven Injured From Falling Ice At Cowboys Stadium!

seven-injured-from-falling-ice-at-cowboys-stadium

Good lord! As if the weather conditions in parts of this country aren't bad enough!

Emergency officials are reportedly rushing to clear the snow covering The Dallas Cowboys' Stadium before it hosts the Super Bowl on Sunday, because falling ice and snow from the roof has left as many as seven people injured and in the hospital!

According to the Arlington Fire department, none of the injuries are life-threatening, and the two who were most seriously hurt are listed in stable condition.

A concessions tent has also been damaged.

Geesh! Get moving on that, guys!

The last thing the Super Bowl needs is any freak accidents from falling icicles!

Calista Flockhart Says Eating Disorder Rumors Hurt Her Career

calista-flockhart-eating-disorders-hurt-career.jpg

Calista Flockhart is still upset over the eating disorder rumors that plagued her in the late '90s while she was starring on the hit TV series, Ally McBeal.

Calistay says the gossip damaged her career because nobody wanted to work with someone who was rumored to have a problem.

She adds:

"I still weigh exactly what I did back then. I've always been thin. I have small bones. It (rumors of an eating disorder) was horrible, completely out of control. It didn't matter what I did, if I ordered food or not… I tried to ignore it, but I'm sure it was damaging to my career. I became depressed. I thought, 'Well, this can't help me get a job' - nobody wants to hire someone who has a problem."

Calista does have a very small body frame, but she is right - she's hardly changed over the years.

Although, we wouldn't argue too much with her success. She still stars on another hit TV series, Brothers and Sisters.

Harvard Gay Hate Crime Now Ruled An Accident!

harvard-library-lgbt-hate-crime-now-labeled-accident-by-university

What the hell?! This is absolutely awful!

About 40 books about gay and lesbian issues were recently reportedly thought to be vandalized in Harvard University's Lamont Library, after security staff discovered them covered in what appeared to be URINE on November 24th!

However, although it was originally being investigated as a hate crime, the university has released a statement claiming that the entire incident was merely an unfortunate accident!

According to an official statement:

The Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) and the College were notified this past Friday by Harvard College Library personnel that 36 books related to gay and lesbian studies were damaged in Lamont Library on November 24, 2010. This incident was initially reported as vandalism and characterized as a hate-crime because of the focused nature and related topics of the damaged books. HUPD has continued to investigate this incident since the initial report and we have learned this morning that the books, while indeed damaged, were damaged by our own library personnel spilling a bottle of what was reported to be urine that had been left on the shelf. I believe this is an important new fact in the investigation and warrants my sharing it with you immediately. While we should not minimize the seriousness of this incident, HUPD is no longer classifying this incident as a hate crime. This nuance in the facts in the case also explains why library personnel did not immediately report the incident and treated it instead as a prank. I am also pleased to report that the Harvard College Library intends to replace all 36 books as soon as possible.

Huh? We're still a little confused on a few issues.

LIKE WHY THERE WAS A BOTTLE OF URINE IN THE LIBRARY!

Not to mention the fact that this accident managed to destroy only LGBT-themed texts, etc.

Something about all of this seems a little shady to us!

We deserve a better explanation, please!

Thoughts??
