Marvel TV is going somewhere it's never gone before — FX!
Newly picked up series Legion will bring one of the comics' strangest characters to life, at least for an order of eight episodes.
Legion tells the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens, left), a man with schizophrenia, multiple personalities, and multiple super powers!
Between this and next year's Beauty and the Beast live action remake (yes, the hottie on the right is the same guy!), we're going to get to know Mr. Stevens quite a bit in 2017!

Despite the fact this is an X-Men spinoff (in the comics, David is the estranged son of Professor Xavier), the show is being produced by the same people who brought you Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
So why isn't it on Netflix? That would likely be because the show was developed by Fargo creator Noah Hawley. And if that Emmy-winning adaptation is any indication, this should be one to watch next year!
Legion also stars Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Katie Aselton and will premiere some time in 2017.
