Well now, after pleading not guilty to charges of invasion of privacy, the 30-year-old's lawyer asked the judge to go easy on his client (AKA not give her jail time) — and in return, she'll go to counseling, take an anti-bullying course, and speak at public schools about the harmful effects of bullying.
And the Los Angeles City Attorney responded with a big ol' NOPE.
According to TMZ, the prosecutor filed docs this week asking for the court to deny Mathers' request, saying she isn't eligible due to the nature of the crime. Plus, she didn't even apologize to the 71-year-old victim, which is obviously a big no no.
The City Attorney has not announced whether he'll be demanding jail time, but Dani faces up to six months if she's found guilty.
