A Woman Ran Over Her Husband With Their Kids In The Car — But The Charges Are Reportedly Being Dropped!
Angela Luke was arrested on Sunday in Bloom Township in Ohio after she allegedly ran over her husband with their car, while their kids were in the backseat.
At the time, she was booked for vehicular homicide because her spouse, Dan, had died from his injuries at a nearby hospital. But now it's looking like those charges are getting dropped.
Reports began to circle that, on Wednesday night, the prosecutor filed a request to dismiss the charges.
Then on Thursday, while a spokesperson for the lawyer's office didn't comment on the motion, the source did explain that Fairfield County Prosecutor Gregg Marx only has 30 days to decide whether or not to administer new charges.
The spokesperson also added that the investigation is ongoing.
Lt. Tim Voris revealed that the mother, who is a second grade teacher, claimed Dan had been abusing her, so she was leaving the home they shared and taking their 8- and 12-year-old children with her.
The 40-year-old said her husband was grabbing on to one of the car windows while she was attempting to drive away, but he lost his grip and fell in the way of her car.
He passed away after sustaining serious injuries to his head and upper body.
Angela had pleaded not guilty to the reckless and aggravated vehicular homicide charges she was facing.
