Uh, 15 days in jail does not seem like much of a punishment against physical assault.
People get much more for far less!
But Emile Hirsch has pleaded guilty to putting a Paramount Pictures executive named Daniele Bernfeld in a chokehold at Tao nightclub in Utah during the Sundance Film Festival on January 25, 2015, and that's exactly what he got.
The actor struck a deal with prosecutors on Monday, and in addition to serving 15 days, he will have to pay a fine of $4,750, and do 50 hours of community service.
The charges of misdemeanor assault against him will be dismissed if he completes the jail time and community service.
