Dane Cook's half brother, Darryl McCauley, was sentenced to five to six years in prison on Wednesday after pleading guilty to 27 counts of larceny over $250, three counts of forgery, embezzlement and other charges.

While working as Cook's business manager, McCauley stole millions from his brother. He even went so far as to write himself a $3 million check from Dane's account.

And he was a former corrections officer!!

McCauley will serve another 10 years of probation after being released from jail, along with paying restitution to his brother.

Wowsa! That must be heartbreaking for Dane.
