It seems such a long time ago that Chris Daughtry was passed over by the viewers of American Idol for Taylor Hicks, but that's probably because Chris has had such an explosive career since then! (And look what happened to Hicks!)

So it gives us nothing but great pleasure to announced that Daughtry is heading back out on tour in support of their latest album, Break The Spell. The first leg of the tour will happen in our own backyard, but more dates are expected fairly soon. The great thing about this tour is not only does it give their fans a chance to connect with the band, but the band in turn is helping raise awareness for several charitable causes. According to the press release, the band will "help combat Africa's battle against malaria by donating $1 from every ticket sold to Malaria No More, a leading humanitarian organization determined to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015."

Nothing wrong with any of that! Such swell guys they are!

All of the contestants were split into four groups and shipped off to their respective judges' houses to perform one last time to prove why they should be there.
