Netflix Viewers Have Watched HALF A BILLION Hours Of Adam Sandler!

no title

In case you were wondering how that deal with Adam Sandler making movies directly to Netflix was working out… the answer is better than we could possibly have imagined.

The streaming giant is infamously tight-lipped when it comes to their actual numbers, so this little peek behind the red curtain is pretty interesting. But also kind of mind-boggling.

Photos: Actors With The Most Razzie Nominations!

In a first quarter earnings report, the company reveals:

"We continue to be excited by our Sandler relationship and our members continue to be thrilled with his films. Since the launch of The Ridiculous 6, Netflix members have spent more than half a billion hours enjoying the films of Adam Sandler."

Holy crap. Half a billion hours!

That's like 350 million full viewings. Hmm, wonder why they didn't say that. Maybe this way they get to count all the people who turned off The Cobbler after 15 minutes?

The report also gave props to Dave Chappelle, saying his Collection 1 is already their "most viewed comedy special ever." We wonder if he'll get a movie deal soon…

Charlie Murphy was such a standout presence on Chappelle's Show, on which he told legendary stories of playing basketball with Prince and fighting with Rick James, we've been wondering how Dave Chappelle would honor his late friend and costar.

We… did not expect it to be at a John Mayer concert.

But the comic and the singer have been friends for years, so Dave surprised John's audience in Ohio Wednesday night when he took the stage to share the sad news with the audience:

"Today I got some terrible news. My good friend Charlie Murphy passed away this morning. Everyone in comedy is heartbroken."

Dave and John talked Prince, Rick James, and partying before breaking it down with a performance of You're Gonna Live Forever In Me dedicated to their fallen friend.

Mohammed Amer couldn't ask for better material than this.

On Wednesday, the comedian boarded an NYC flight headed for Glasgow, Scotland to kick off his Human Appeal Comedy Tour, when he got bumped up to first-class at the last moment.

But when he found his seat, he realized the upgrade might not have been random, because he was suddenly sitting next to Eric Trump!

The funny man told Huffington Post that his first thought when he saw Donald Trump's son was:

"Are you f*cking kidding me?"

He admitted a fellow flyer was disgusted that Eric was on their plane, recalling:

"She looked at me and said, 'I wouldn't even sit next to him if I were you.'"

But, the 35-year-old confessed he was hopeful the experience would create some great material for his routine.

After all, he was born in Kuwait and came to the US as a refugee, so his jokes are often about immigration and living life as a Muslim man.

He even said to Eric:

"You don't even know how fantastic this is for me. I'm a Muslim named Mohammed who happens to be a stand-up comedian, and I'm sitting next to you. Its perfect."

But, on a serious note, he told the President-Elect's son that he has no intention of taking part in his famous father's proposed Muslim registry, adding:
