Gideon and Harper were all smiles atop their steeds, and so were NPH and David!

Unfortunately in California, same sex marriage is as illegal as it's ever been! Neil says:
"It would be great to move the ring from my right hand to my left, but Prop 8 won't allow us to do that. David and I have been soulmate-y since we first met."
But the couple is tired of waiting around for change! They're moving to New York City and making this thing official!

The How I Met Your Mother star was sent on a cross country scavenger hunt by his amazing partner David Burtka after a VERY early 40th birthday party on Saturday.
Neil's first stop was in Las Vegas to train with Cirque Du Soleil where he dressed in full Cirque-style makeup and performed an acrobatic dance.
