Neil says that the couple doesn't use baby talk around their 15-month-old twins Gideon and Harper.

And it stems from the fact that Neil's parents refused to babble around him when he was a baby.

Apparently, the actor thought he and his gentleman friend David Burtka thought they were going rock climbing over the weekend, when in reality they were being set up for the reboot of the MTV prank series Punk'D!

Too bad though, because NPH realized what was happening!
