It looks like Hollywood is doing what Hollywood does best! Rebooting the crap out of beloved film franchises until we hate them!!!
Last night New Line revealed plans to remake Wes Craven's horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, which isn't too surprising since horror flicks are CONSTANTLY being rebooted!
But if this sounds familiar to you, it's probably because this franchise has already seen its fair share of remakes!
In addition to the first six films in the series, we also got the more meta Wes Craven's New Nightmare in 1994, the spin-off Freddy Vs. Jason in 2003, and let's not even mention the sloppy remake of the original in 2010!
That means this is going to TENTH time we see Freddy hit the big screen!
So far there's not too much info on the film other than it will be penned by David Leslie Johnson, who worked on a couple of episodes of The Walking Dead!
There are still a ton of questions left, like who will play Freddy? Or do we even NEED another Nightmare on Elm Street movie??? Share you thoughts in the comments below!!
