Twin Peaks is one of the BEST shows, regardless of having been canceled just two seasons into the series… which was a cray decision! We mean, why wouldn't the network want to keep a David Lynch show around?? It's too delightfully weird not to, even if it wasn't getting the best ratings!

There's no denying that Lana Del Rey is absolutely gorgeous. We've seen those H&M print ads!

Even especially so in her new commercial for the retail chain where things get a little weird.

Lana gives off a very sexy '60s vibe as she sings Blue Velvet for a few strangers in a dark, creepy mint green and wood room, which is when the commercial becomes some sort of David Lynch dream. And that's really all we can say about it except that the clothes look great.

And, that's really all that matters, right?

David Lynch is pregnant!

Er, well, his wife Emily Stofle is. That would have been weird. Like David Lynch movie weird.

Anyway, it's official! We guess the couple realized they couldn't hide Emily's enormous bump anymore; they released a statement Tuesday confirming our suspicions.

David Lynch is finally doing something we can understand- he's having a baby!

The enigmatic filmmaker and wife Emily Stofle are apparently expecting a daughter; they've registered for lots of pink at West Hollywood's Bel Bambini.

This will be Emily's first child and David's fourth. Of course, there was that weird thing in Eraserhead (The plot! LOLZ!).

Doing this all over again must all seem like a dream to the director. And in that spirit…

Was there any doubt the guy behind Mulholland Dr and Blue Velvet could throw an epic shindig??

Acclaimed director David Lynch teamed up with Dom Pérignon Wednesday night to throw a wicked-sweet El Lay bash!!

A whole slew of odd-but-awesome celebs were reportedly in attendance, including Marilyn Manson, Kelly Osbourne, and Fifty Shades obsessed novelist Bret Easton Ellis!!

With live performances by The Kills and Diplo, and all those eccentric A-listers, we bet there was more booze-based debauchery than an SNL after-party in 1982!!

We just wish we could've been there, LOLz!!

Kyle MacKachlan has had a pretty notable career after starring in a string of David Lynch's greatest hits, along with Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City, but we think his greatest accomplishment is easily Showgirls!

The actor recently reflected on his career and revealed that the notorious cinematic bomb "came as a surprise" after watching the final cut.

He was surprised because the entire cast and filmmakers took the movie incredibly seriously, as MacLachlan explained:

This is an interesting directing choice!

Back in May, Stephen King opened up about the upcoming Carrie remake, and he suggested both David Cronenberg and David Lynch as good choices to direct.

While we agreed that the Davids would both be good for the job, it looks like MGM/Screen Gems has decided to go with Boys Don't Cry director Kimberly Peirce instead.
