Snakes on a Plane Director Found Dead At 60

Hollywood is gonna have to find someone else to make their awesomely-on-purpose-bad movies!
Director David R. Ellis has passed away.
The man who brought the world Shark Night 3D, The Final Destination, Cellular, Final Destination 2 and of course, Snakes on a Plane — was found dead Monday morning in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was only 60-years-old.
David's long time pal Samuel L. Jackson mourned his loss on Twitter, writing:
So sad to hear of David R Ellis passing! So talented, so kind, such a Good Friend. He'll be missed. Gone too soon!

Authorities say Ellie was found in the bathroom of his hotel room, and foul play is not suspected. They still haven't determined a cause of death.
Our thoughts are with his wife and three children.
He's in a better place now. A place with no snakes.
