Chronicle Director Will Be Guiding The Fantastic Four Back To The Big Screen

Fantastic Four reboot directed by josh trank

Fox was so pleased with the unconventional superhero movie Chronicle, that the studio wants director Josh Trank to tackle the Fantastic Four remake.

Despite the fact that the last movie hit theaters just five years ago, Fox plans on starting the franchise fresh with an entirely new cast.

We wonder if any of the newcomers in Trank's found-footage flick will be cast?

Alex Russell, the actor who played the surviving teenage protagonist in the director's feature debut, could potentially be a nice choice to replace Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, no?

Potential Directors For The Wolverine REVEALED!

Excellent! They've got big ass shoes to fill!

Darren Aronofsky pretty much crushed our dreams of a good movie when he dropped off the proposed sequel to X-Men: Wolverine, The Wolverine, but apparently, David Slade and Duncan Jones have been tapped by execs for a chance to pick up the pieces of this mess.

While Slade is best known for more of a horror fare, like his work on 30 Days of Night, Jones was behind the really cool sci-fi flick, Moon.

Wow. Two really, specifically stylized aesthetics - but in complete opposition of each other! We think both could bring a lot to the table for the project!

It will be inneresting to see who gets the job! But hey!

We're excited again!

What do U think? Which one should direct The Wolverine??

Sorry, Ben! Daredevil Getting The Reboot Treatment

daredevil getting reboot treatment

Last we heard about Daredevil, Matt Damon was speaking about how he ALMOST played the title role that eventually went to Ben Affleck.

Looks like Matt will have a second chance, because 30 Days of Night director David Slade is working on a Daredevil reboot for 20th Century Fox.

Details are scarce at this point, but reports say that the story will be based on Frank Miller & David Mazzucchelli's Born Again story arc, "which has the Kingpin discovering Daredevil's secret identity, Matt Murdoch, and destroying Murdoch's life."

We're not sure how necessary this is, but we suppose we'll be curious to see who they cast as Daredevil.

How about Garrett Hedlund? After seeing Tron: Legacy, we're thinking he's a VERY solid choice for upcoming action flicks.

Who do U think would be a good choice for the new Daredevil?

Jude Law In Talks For Vampire Movie

Jude Law Might Be In Vamp Movie

Great news!

Jude Law is in talks right now to be a part of David Slade's The Last Voyage of Demeter, which, if you have never heard of it, is one of the cooler vampire stories that hasn't been told (in a while).

It follows the crew of the Demeter, a merchant ship that is unlucky enough to be the ship chosen to transport the coffin of the legendary Dracula!

Mr. Law would be playing alongside the other two confirmed actors Ben Kingsley and Noomi Rapace!

Jude, good luck on the part, bb! Come on over and run lines with us! We can even practice the biting! LOLz!

What do U think??

Eclipse Director Up For Wolverine 2

We’re SO ready for vampires vs. werewolverines!

Okay, obviously that’s not actually going to happen, but we’re very curious to see what The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade would do with Wolverine 2.

Aside from Slade, the other top candidate for the director’s chair on Wolverine 2 is Robert Schwentke, who directed The Time Traveler’s Wife.

Clearly, the ability to direct epic fight scenes between vampires and werewolves is more pertinent than the ability to bore audiences visualize time travel.

Sources say the film’s story will revolve around Wolverine traveling to Japan. There is talk that the script may draw from a 1979 Wolverine story arc, wherein he falls in love with the daughter of a Yakuza crime boss.

A shunned and forbidden romance between lovers from two drastically different walks of life? Yeah, the Twilight guy should be able to handle that.

Who do U think should direct Wolverine 2?

Tarantino To Direct The Shadow?

Possibly!

Rumors are flying that Quentin Tarantino is in talks to write and direct The Shadow, based on the old radio show.

A new adaptation has been in the works for awhile with Sam Raimi and David Slade both rumored to be involved, but now Tarantino is the latest director supposedly attached to the project.

Well it would likely be a violent interpretation!

What do U think?

Eclipse Re-Shoots Explained

Breathe a sigh of relief, Twi-hards!

After reports of Eclipse re-shoots surfaced yesterday, a studio rep has come forth to tackle some of the rumors about the new and revised scenes.

"The re-shoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of films," the rep explains. "None of the meadow or action scenes are being re-shot."

The rep also said that there aren't any "creative differences" between the studio and director David Slade, especially since he's overseeing the re-shoots.

We'll have to wait and see what the end result is! The movie is still expected to come out on its June 30 release date.

Get excited!
