Peter Dinklage: Is He X-Men: Days Of Future Past's New Villain???

peter dinklage xmen days of future past cast villain maybe

People couldn't be more excited about the news of the wonderful Peter Dinklage joining the cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past!

This is because literally every role he's been in, he has been memorable and stunning — most notably, his role as Tyrion Lannister in the amazeballs Game of Thrones! Now, we're getting him in an X-Men movie? TAKE OUR MONEY!

Speculation quickly spread as to whom Peter would be playing, and now we're hearing specifically that it's looking like he'll be our new baddy!! We just don't know WHICH character!

It's kind of a bummer that he won't be a good guy, because he plays them so well (and is one in real life!) — but we feel like he has the raw talent to give us an INcredible antagonist in the end!

The new flick is based on the 1981 story in the Marvel comic Uncanny X-Men and will include characters from the 1960s first class as well as future versions of the original characters, but the actual role Peter will be playing is anyone's guess at this point!

JUST TELL US ALREADY! LOLz!!

X-Men's Ian McKellen & Patrick Stewart Confirmed To Reprise Their Mutant Roles In Days Of Future Past!

patrick stewart ian mckellan x men days of future past

Fantastic!

Thanks to a helpful tweet by director Bryan Singer, it's official X-Men lovers — Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart — are totally coming back to Days Of Future Past as Professor X and Magneto!

They'll be teaming up with the insatiably hot Michael Fassbender (young Magneto) and cutie James McAvoy (young X). JUST FYI!

Now… in the comics, Days of Future Past told the alternating stories of dystopian future-living mutants stuck in internment camps and present day mutes fighting the future from happening.

So with the news, this means Fassypants and McAvoy will be the present day mutants while the vets' future will live in early 21st century as X was believed to be killed in 2006's The Last Stand.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are also slated to return as Mystique and Beast, so we can only imagine that Rebecca Romijn and Kelsey Grammer will play their future selves.

And maybe… just maybe… they'll somehow bring Jean Grey into the mix so she can duke it out with January Jones!

Bryan Singer WILL Direct New X-Men Sequel!

Bryan Singer Directing Next X-Men

After X-3, we were begging Bryan Singer to come back for the next X-Men movie!

Who were all those characters? Where were the gay allegories?? Why did hot hunk of a man James Marsden die for no reason?!

But X-Men: First Class was actually pretty cool! The characters were identifiable, the allegories was back, and we had hottie James McAvoy to fill the hole in our, um, hearts.

So now it looks like Bryan wants back on the ride! He has officially confirmed he will be the director for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but he'll still be working closely with Matthew Vaughn, the man who righted the ship in the First place.

Days Of Future Past is a story about time travel and a dark future world where the X-Men are being hunted to extinction by giant robots.

Kind of like The Terminator, only with mutants. And hotter men.

X-Men: First Class Sequel Loses Director

X-Men: Days of Future Past is in trouble.

No one is really sure why, but First Class director Matthew Vaughn has opted out!

Sources say that 20th Century Fox still wants to release the follow-up to the 2011 blockbuster in the summer of 2014 so they are scrambling to find a replacement.

Luckily, Bryan Singer — the director of the first two installments of the superhero franchise — is already producing. Will he take on the directing responsibilities while Vaughn takes over his producing job?

The first two movies are the BEST, so we certainly hope so!
