According to box office analysts, Harry Potter will almost definitely become the highest-grossing film franchise of all time after Parts 1 and 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are released.

Here's what Box Office Mojo president Brandon Gray had to say about it:

"This is one of the greatest box office franchises in movie history. It's phenomenal they could maintain this level of business six movies in. That's nearly unheard of."

In total, the Star Wars films have made $1.9 billion domestically, but Harry Potter is at $1.7 billion already AND it has two more films on the way!

Looks like your record, much like the Death Star, is about to be destroyed, Star Wars.
