Catt Sadler and Jason Kennedy are two fruits of the same tree!

That's what the former E! News host had to say amid claims that her colleague had a bigger workload than her, hence why he made considerably more money.

As we reported, A-listers have been flocking to support Sadler following her announcement that she was leaving the network after 12 years because she found out that she made much less than her colleague.

Stars like Debra Messing and Eva Longoria viciously blasted E! for the pay disparity on Sunday's Golden Globes red carpet — which prompted the network to speak out on Tuesday about the "misinformation" regarding the messy situation.

NBCUniversal Cable has defended its salaries ever since the 43-year-old announced her exit. Kennedy's wife Lauren Scruggs Kennedy echoed that sentiment in her blog, arguing that gender is not the issue because her husband makes way less than female cohosts like Giuliana Rancic.

But Sadler doesn't buy that argument. She told the The Hollywood reporter that while comparing Kennedy and Rancic is like comparing "apples and oranges," she and Kennedy are "apples to apples."

She also subtly noted that Kennedy's wife should stay in her lane, explaining:

The Will & Grace Cast Puts A Smile On Our Face At The Golden Globes

<a href=

Kings! Queen!

Will & Grace's Debra Messing (in Christian Siriano), Sean Hayes, Eric McCormack (and sadly missing Megan Mullally) showed up to the Golden Globes in LA Sunday…BUT DIDN'T POSE TOGETHER!

While we lament that missed opportunity, we still have to say they made us super happy by coming. Apparently Will & Grace has been nominated four times for a GG but never won! Travesty!!!

Regardless, they'll always be winners in our hearts, even if they never get that trophy.

Debra Messing Shades THE FUCK Out Of E! For Their Unequal Pay Controversy At The Golden Globes!

Debra Messing just came out swinging against E!

While walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes, the Will & Grace star stopped by to chat with Giuliana Rancic about the Time's Up movement, which was founded to help combat sexual misconduct in the workplace. However, Messing reminded those tuning in to the awards show that harassment isn't the only issue facing working women.

In fact, Debra highlighted that the campaign was also an attempt to help squash the gender pay gap. Here's where the 49-year-old industry vet called out E!. While discussing equal pay in the workforce, Debra expressed how disheartened she was to learn that E! didn't pay their employees equally — referencing Catt Sadler's decision to leave the network after learning she made significantly less than her male peer.
