New Sculpture Of Amy Winehouse Takes It Way Too Far!

So disrespectful!

Although Daniel Edwards is mostly famous for creating controversial sculptures of a a pregnant Britney Spears on a bear skin rug, or a nude Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, it's his latest work that we think took it way too far - a bust of of the late Amy Winehouse.

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

He justifies the work by saying:

"I thought of her as a beautifully delicate fairytale princess, waiting to be rescued from fame and addiction, but her prince never came. I had always expected to sculpt her portrait, but I was waiting for her to put some of her troubles behind her. She had made me pay attention to contemporary music again."

And his representative, Cory Allen, elaborates:

"The portrait of Amy is dedicated to those struggling with addiction and eating disorder. Nobody should have to go through what Amy went through."

Well, what's the deal then?

You want to pay tribute to her life by making her a lost princess, but yet you still depict her body emaciated, nude, and sickly?

We doubt that anyone would think it's appropriate for her to be remembered in such a way. Especially considering the wonderful contributions she made to the music world.

This guy seems far too concerned with creating shock value when he should be focusing on what a talented sculptor he is!

Hopefully this will be his last to raise eyebrows - in a negative way!

Disturbing! Second Person Dead at Bonnaroo

This is seriously upsetting.

Last week, we were very sad to learn that the deceased body of a 32-year-old woman was found at the campsite of the Bonnaroo festival. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Now, we've learned that another Bonnaroo attendee, 24-year-old Christopher William Yoder, has passed away after getting hypothermia while at the festival.

Here's what Bonnaroo organizers had to say about the tragic deaths in a statement:

"The safety of our patrons is our No. 1 concern, and we are deeply saddened by this."

We truly hope we don't hear about any more cases like this! So sad and and disturbing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of both people who passed away at this year's Bonnaroo festival.

Absolute tragedies.

Body Found At The Bonnaroo Festival

So tragic.

The deceased body of a 32 woman was found at the campsite of the Bonnaroo festival last night.

According to Coffee County Sheriff Stephen M. Graves, she was discovered yesterday by her friends, who quickly notified festival security staff. She's since been identified and is from the Pittsburgh area, although her name has been withheld while authorities notify her relatives of her passing.

Cause of death is currently unknown, but the state medical examiner's office will be performing an autopsy.

So tragic to think that something like this would happen at an event that's supposed to just bring people happiness and enjoyment.

Our sincerest condolences to this woman's family and friends during this difficult time.

Yoko Ono Thinks John Lennon Would Have LOVED Lady GaGa!

We think she's right! These two definitely would have had quite a bit to talk about!

Yoko Ono recently opened up about performing with Lady GaGa, and revealed that she thinks that if her husband, John Lennon, were still alive, he would have been fascinated with the pop star!

She explains:

She performed with me on stage wearing a see-through lace catsuit and people thought it was an insult because you could see her bottom. I’m the lady who did an exhibition of bottoms. How could hers offend me? She has a very lovely bottom. I think she’s wonderful. John would have loved her, because she’s an artist, she’s fearless and she pushes every limit, which we both always adored. She has played on John’s white piano and I think that’s wonderful. Life moves on and you embrace it.

Such kind and lovely words!

And we agree, bb! We're so happy to hear that you've embraced her artistry and can appreciate what she does!

Hopefully, you two will consider another collaboration in the future!
