After appearing on the cover of British Vogue’s October issue the magazine witnessed some best-selling numbers.

Now we’re guessing Cosmopolitan is hoping for the same results.

The British beauty is on the December 2011 cover of Cosmopolitan which hits newsstands next Tuesday.

Reveals Adele in the new issue:

“My favorite singers are Etta James and Aretha Franklin. If you were to look up the word singer in the dictionary you’d see their names. Not mine.”

She also goes on to talk about her career, how she got started, her love life, and her breakups, one of which led to her hit Rolling in the Deep.

The holidays aren’t looking so great for retailers.

According to a new forecast by ShpperTrak, sales will not be as high as last year. Shoppers will also be going to less stores.

Last year, sales rose 4.1% in November and December, but this year forecasts are just at a 3% rise.

As for customer traffic in the stores, that’s going to be down about 2.2% with more shoppers deciding to purchase online.

Last December, Jennifer Connelly announced she was pregnant with her second child with hubby Paul Bettany.

And just a few months later, Connelly is looking rather large.

The 40-year-old hottie was spotted yesterday with her two sons, 13-year-old Kai from a previous relationship and 7-year-old Stellan who she had with Paul.

Connelly walked the two to school and showed off her growing belly. Although it was a bit hard to spot the baby bump as she kept hiding it behind her Balenciaga bag.

We can't wait to see the photos of the baby which will soon join this already gorgeous family.
