Did Simon Cowell's recent faux-wedding cause the mega-producer to contemplate EXISTENCE?!

The TV-talent-competition mastermind took to Twitter Tuesday morning to spill deets on numerous exciting topics: One Direction's upcoming movie, the progress of popular X Factor contestants Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony, a special unnamed project that's to debut SOON…

BUT all of a sudden, Simon's tweets turn into cryptic messages about relationships, family, and the important aspects of life!

Cowell even writes about experiencing "bumps", but he does NOT mention any specifics.

What's going on, SiSi?! What's weighing so heavily on that noggin of yours?! While we don't have any idea as to WHY Simon got all thoughtful on us, we must say we're enjoying the honesty!

And self-reflection is NEVER a bad thing!

James Cameron To Dive To The Deepest Part Of The Ocean

James Cameron is not only an amazingly talented filmmaker, he's also crazy.

He is planning to dive to the bottom of the Mariana trench, the deepest point in the whole ocean.

And no, he's not funding some adrenaline-junkie scientists, he's going himself.

He wants to find out what's at the bottom of the 36,000ft deep trench. That's over 6.8 miles down!!

The pressure there is over 8 tons per square inch.

That's why he's crazy. Best of luck, Mr. Cameron.

James Cameron Gets DEEP!

Wow!

James Cameron is preparing to dive into the deepest part of the ocean to do research for his upcoming sequel to Avatar!

He has already commissioned Australian engineers to craft a deep sea submarine so he can reach the bottom of the Mariana Trench, 11,000 meters down in the western Pacific!

The sequel will be set in the sea of Pandora.

The Mariana Trench has been visited by man only once in a vessel called the Trieste and it took five hours to descend to the floor by Jacques Piccard and Don Walsh back in 1960!

No humans have been that deep since!

Cameron says:

“We are building a vehicle to do the dive. It's about half-completed in Australia. We are using lightweight but very strong carbon composite materials and other advanced technologies very different from the Trieste, which was a hollowed-out cannonball.

“We believe we have solved most of the technological challenges to returning to the Mariana Trench. The real trick now is to make such vessels lighter, cheaper and more attractive to industry.”

Pretty ambitious — and fascinating, too!

Plus, the man can afford it!
