New Jersey governor Chris Christie has made his less-than-favorable opinion of Barack Obama pretty clear over the course of his presidency, but in light of Hurricane Sandy, the Republican has set aside his differences with the Democrat.
While visiting the Brigantine Beach Community Center and speaking to refugees of the storm, they both praised each other's response to the disaster.
When Obama told the crowd, “I want to let you know that your governor is working overtime," Christie added:

Katy Perry lent her voice to Barack Obama's presidential campaign on Sunday night when she performed at his latest El Lay fundraiser.
Along with Jon Bon Jovi, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder and Jennifer Hudson, Katy sang her heart out at the Nokia Theatre with hopes of re-electing the Democratic nominee.
She belted out one of her biggest hits, Firework (above) and then covered Al Green's Let's Stay Together to show the POTUS how it's done!
They totally should have done a duet! Check out her rendition … AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Despite all of the domestic talking points that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney discussed during Wednesday's debate, Big Bird was the hottest topic of the night.
While spouting off federal programs he would cut in order to lower the country's deficit, the Republican presidential candidate turned to PBS news anchor Jim Leherer and said:

While Bill Clinton delivered a stunning speech at the Democratic National Convention, Al Gore is making his presence known during this election season too!
Following his coverage of both conventions, the former Vice President and almost-President of the United States is hosting Current TV's coverage of the first Presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.
He'll be commenting on points made by both candidates in Denver, Colorado on October 3.
We bet he'll be pretty pissed if they don't bring up global warming.

Michele Bachmann might be having the worst political year ever!
Not only didn't she come close to securing a presidential nomination from the Republican party, but she might be losing her seat in Congress!
The proud supporter of the Tea Party movement has been reppin' Minnesota's 6th congressional district since 2007, but voters apparently have had enough of her bigoted antics. A recent poll shows she is just 2 points ahead of Democrat Jim Graves!
We're sure a lot of her
