Study Finds High Rate Of Depression In Bisexual Women

Lindsey Lohan depressed

Ugh! It shouldn't have to be like this!

A new study published in the American Journal of Public Health has found a high occurrence of depression, stress and anxiety in bisexual females.

In a survey from George Mason University women reported they often felt "invisible", as lead researcher Lisa Lindley explains:

"There tends to be this expectation or standard that a person picks one sexual identity and sticks with it. I think there's a lot of misunderstanding about bisexuals."

Even more unfortunate is the survey's revelation that bisexual men and women tend to abuse alcohol as teenagers. While men dropped their dependency on alcohol as they grew up, bisexual women's alcoholism prevailed.

Lindley believes "their risk has a lot more to do with stigma."

We know it's hard sometimes, but keep your chin up, ladies!

Sad Keanu Writes An Ode To Happiness

keanu-reeves-writes-book.jpg

We're so glad he can have a sense of humor about that whole Sad Keanu thing.

So, anyway, Keanu Reeves wrote a book. And it's about sadness, which is absolutely perfect considering the source.

The book, titled Ode to Happiness, started out as a joke, but after friends heard of the book, they all wanted copies.

Keanu says explains the book's creation:

"I was in my kitchen hanging out with my friend Janey, and the radio was on. And this station was playing, like, an orgy of depressing, self-pitying, nostalgic music … It was so voluptuously horrible. And I just started to write on this piece of paper, because I had this image of, you know, that moment when you take a bath, you light that candle, and you're really just kind of depressed. And it was making Janey laugh so hard, I just kept going, piling on the self-pity."

Each page in the book features a somber line in blot letters that look like they've ben smudged by tears. The ending shows a single black hole, with the matching words, "It can always be worse."

And to make things even better, he plans on making a book of dark poems. He says, "I'm considering another idea I call Haikus of Hope. Basically like, 'I want to kill myself,' and go from there."

LOLz! Who knew Keanu had such a sense of humor?

Thank goodness for his ability to laugh at himself. He just fills our lives with joy and mirth. Honestly.

Employee Sues Elie Tahari For Having To Work In New Jersey

elie-tahari-employee-sues-for-working-in-new-jersey.jpg

This is effing ridiculous.

Thomas Horodecki, a business manager at Elie Tahari, is suing the company after suffering a mental breakdown because –wait for it– he had to work in New Jersey.

In his arbitration claim, Horodecki says he was constantly passed over for promotions and raises because he wasn't Jewish.

After complaining about it to his supervisor Sagit Halperin he was then forced to make the long drive to Hackensack and Paramus, New Jersey.

Then it was all downhill from there and a breakdown ensued.

Thomas explains:

"It was the smog. It was depressing driving to Jersey. The traffic was horrendous on Route 4, and they are pretty bad drivers. The stores are kind of cheesy for the most part. New York City has everything when it comes to fashion, especially Saks. And when it comes to styling, let's just say Jersey is difficult. Fashion it is not! Mentally, I just started going crazy. I had a breakdown. I was crying to my partner. Depression set in. I couldn't go to work anymore. I'm presently seeing a psychologist and [I'm] on Zoloft. Mentally, I was exhausted from everything. It absolutely contributed to my breakdown as time went along."

In fact his depression got so bad, he's been on disability leave since December.

Horodecki is seeking $2 million from Tahari for his Jersey-induced mental breakdown.

Good luck with that, pal.

Oprah's Biggest Failure Is…

Check out the video (above) in which Oprah reveals to Piers Morgan that her biggest failure was her movie Beloved, which was beaten at the box office by Bride of Chucky. Ouch!

According to Oprah, her failure brought her into a depressed state, where she ate massive amounts of mac & cheese to ease the pain.

We're sorry to hear it, but U seem to have bounced back pret-ty well, Ms. Winfrey!

There IS another Chucky movie in the works though, so you MAY want to have your chef on standby. LOLs

Looks like Leona Lewis' ex Lou Al-Chamaa is not taking their anniversary as a single man very well.

He seems to be in a depressing funk, tweeting some pretty dark and cryptic messages on his Twitter, writing:

Took something perfect & painted it Red..

Un-happy anniversary…

What we don't understand, we fear & what we fear, we try and destroy…

Writing deep dark disturbing poetry.. Any publishers out there?

Chin up, buddy. Who knows? Maybe you can make big bucks writing poetry for jilted ex-lovers.

Kate's "Depressed", No One Cares

Oh boo fucking hoo!

Kate Gosselin is trying to rake in those pity votes following another shiteous night on Dancing With The Stars.

The sometimes mother of 8 spewed the same ol' shiz after getting reamed by the judges. Kate said:

"I had fun, and they didn't seem to notice. It's starting to creep in a little bit. Tonight, I was trying to hold back horrible emotions … probably not on live TV should I be standing there crying in front of the judges … It's getting a little difficult. I'm depressed, sort of."

Oh shut the hell up, Kate!

Having fun isn't good enough. You suck, now admit it!
